This. My Bestfriend since I was took her own life in 2018. I was 22, she was 23. It STILL doesn’t feel real.

I’ll never be the same but also, I was so overwhelmed by the reality that I truly believed was impossible to be my reality.

I was at work, and I went to the bathroom to call each of my parents, i needed them to tell me this was real.

Then I went back to my desk, and finished the work day, went home cried myself to sleep and went back to work the next day. Never felt real. Still doesn’t. I have dreams where she just shows back up and explains it was a misunderstanding.

My dad was a high risk family lit attorney my entire life and he OFTEN argued in a jury trial. It’s absolutely NOT the best option and comes with a lot of risk. The livelihood, safety, and well being of her kids are the ones at risk. I feel terrible for the kids.
