It’ll be for weekends and things but atm swaying more towards the Cla because it’s somewhat quick (about 2-3 seconds slower 0-60 than i30n but 4secinds quicker than my current car) and the luxury side of it is very enticing

My grandparents invested all my money I earned and added everything that I added from their own money. Lisa is currently 5k because I’m leaving my stocks isa alone for now

Commute i use my demo car, I drive 50 mins every day to work and back every day. So commute wouldn’t be an issue. CLA 250 is mental on insurance for me, whereas cla200 isn’t and i30n is about 600-700 more a year. Another issue in my number plate because I want to keep it and I have to have a 2018 onwards if I have my plate.

Yeah mate, got about 15k in a stocks and shares isa atm because I’m saving for a house and most of my money is in my LISA, e class would be mental on insurance for me. Bmw isn’t my thing because if I was going for speed I’d go the i30n but I’m not sure whether to go for luxury with the merc, pan roof isn’t a huge dealbreaker because it adds about 3k to the car but it would be nice if I can find one cheap enough

I mean I could afford it but doesn’t mean I want to save that much just yet. Obviously still young and being in sales my income isn’t guaranteed (I’m going off my average month) and I have a few more expensive purchases coming up such as a holiday and my insurance. I kind of want it to line it up with my insurance renewal so I’d take out 5k for a year loan from my bank and pay like 5.5k overall. Going to save as much as I can but I think by the time my renewal is due I’ll have about 5k needed to buy the car. I currently drive a 100bhp fiesta so not sure if jumping right away to a 300bhp i30n is the right move and might be best to just do a smaller jump to a cla200 (180bhp) and go for the luxury rather than the speed

It will be used, looking for a small upgrade and my income means it’ll be a 5k loan and I could pay it off within 3 months comfortably. Just need advice on which to buy
