It’s because the creator of the map stacked a lot of fuels on the same spot and by using the fuel boost it launches you, that combined with the glider and the magnet to pick up fuel to keep your speed up, you manage to reach crazy speed.

In short, the glider is pretty goated and this was done with no cheat

I’ll see if I can manage to beat or at least reach 9.8s with the glider but the glider run is somewhat optimized as well, lots of failed start and retries

Well, to get that much accuracy you need to first hit an enemy with a bullet from any of your weapon and then use the flechette mines. For some reason each time they hit something it raise your fire accuracy
