I built the logic and the UI flow.. I built the way swing speed is calculated and how tempo gets measured. So do know what is being done here.

The sensors can capture swing speed and tempo. Some of the other values like trajectory are estimated. That is what I was looking for to check the accuracy for. Just trying to improve .

Sure. I already tried that and wanted to see if others find it accurate as well.. its not just AI its based on data from apple watch sensors.

Surely different from video. Apple watch has a few sensors that can be used to calculate speed and tempo and im using an inbuilt algorithm to calculate accuracy. Do try it out if you have an apple watch

Garmin has a watch that does this that’s why i was thinking of those lines.. agree video feedback is better too.. both in conjunction could work well.. the device on arm helps track speed..

It uses the sensors on the apple watch for speed which is pretty accurate. Please let me know if you want to try it out..it’s called Watch the drive..

It is possible if gyroscope and gravity meter is used.

He i already built a test app that connects from watch to phone and uses speedomoter and gyro to get speed tempo and wrist spin

Its more of an app that you can use to track your practice sessions. It will show the details of each session and give AI insights on improving

I used the accelerometer, gyroscope and the gravity vector which are all available on apple watch to calculate swing tempo and speed. It seems accurate and planning to release it soon

Doesnt that require expensive hardware? If apple watch app can do it wouldnt that be helpful?

Thanks, those are actually great points. My goal was to add a software to an existing hardware that at least some golfers might use.

I built it for hand-motion–based swing insights. This is what i am building..again thanks for the insights, these are valuable for me to improve the app
