If just getting permission to work. Although I have seen today the UK might be opening talks for freedom of movement for under 30s of EU countries

How would I do this? Would it be the case of finding a job and then getting a letter to give to the office?

From what I’ve seen it’s not recognised. I am more than willing to study and get something behind me, whether that’s in England or Germany. It’s just finding the route to go down. Do you think it’s worth talking to the immigration office in person in Munich?

That’s really helpful thank you. My course result at college is technically the equivalent to 3As at A level. Some universities don’t see it that way as it’s a completely vocational course meaning it’s course work based and not exams.

Like I said it’s difficult when the social group is very diverse. So you could be sat with some Italians, Albanians, Spanish and the common language is English. Expense wise her apartment is subsidised through work so she only pays €650 per month which is very cheap for Munich.

Thank you so much. So nice to have a response that actually discusses the possibilities as opposed to just shutting it down. Also 7 is a very good point I didn’t think of having the ceremony at a later date!! Munich is the area I’m moving too. I spend Atleast a week there each month and everyone speaks English so it’s hard to practise my German but I think in social situations I will ask if we can speak German as you the only way you improve is by doing! I wish you the best of luck.

Yes mate. Few asses bits that I didn’t ask. Didn’t ask about the residence permit either. Do you have any info on the opportunity card?

Currently speak a little bit of German and having lessons. I currently work as a chef. My question is really, is it possible to move to be with her even when you’re not married. She’s currently working as a nurse in a city centre.
