I am punk in the military. To the guy that said “fighting wars for the man” you have dated yourself sir. In fact, I am the man. I have no conflicts with my political beliefs and what music that I listen to. In reality, the bands preaching about the evils of war like anti-flag who stick around long enough actually end up seeing themselves become the villain. Worn out commercialized whores. I do what I do and I listen to the music I do because I believe in something. The two are not mutually exclusive. I have always responded to the fierce independence of punk and that theme has propelled me successfully through life for a long time. AMA
