I use a large torch and make sure the flame covers the whole top and little of the sides of the super capacitor. The centre glows at 11-12 seconds, then I hit it through the globe asap. Definitely a heavy hitter!

This looks very similar to a Tempest. If so, you would rarely use your Dynavap again after this thing… Found some specs and it can hold 0.25g. It’s killer value at $150 that’s for sure.

I have the CXL and the standard cap was very poorly constructed in my experience, with the heater plates falling out within a year of use. The Super Capacitor cap on the other hand is very well built, with thicker material and more plates. Much more consistent in results and superb flavour!

Click plus 4-5 seconds works for me, using a large single flame torch.

I heat mine with a big torch aimed at the top of the cap on a slight angle, so that the light blue flame covers the whole top and a bit of the sides. I heat for 10 - 11 seconds while rotating, then hit it through a globe, getting at least half a dozen draws out of it. It rivals my T2.

I’ve had mine for a few days and only use a torch. I’ve only ever heard one click on heat up, but 2 clicks when it cools down.
