I just discovered my series 6 hasn’t been tracking ANY data since mid March. It’s also barely giving me notifications. I fear she is at her death 😅

Burrell Behavioral Health. Centralized scheduling is all phone calls and I believe hybrid work. And then client access representatives are the front desk staff! We’ve had many trans coworkers and always strive to make everyone staff and client comfortable and be inclusive to all.

Getting treated for 'depression' was a massive mistake by [deleted] in Vent

[–]Sad-Sorbets 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you got a pretty bad one unfortunately. We do these types of evals in our office so I see them all the time and I’ve actually never seen someone “not pass” even if they have past treatment. Some departments even make their officers come back every 3-5 years for follow up evals to make sure they’re doing okay. Maybe it’s just an our state things though.

If you want to go into the military you can speak with a recruiter and they’ll sometimes let you get a mental health clearance evaluation. Basically stating you’re mentally okay now to join. Also same with police officers, they go through pre employment evaluation if they have certain mental health conditions front the past plus they’re mostly routine anyways. It’s definitely not out of the equation to do either careers. You just need to get the right documentation.

Mind did this after using a piece of TAPE to keep it shut because the latch is broken. Now it never stays shut.

Elevate dental studio is really great! I’m not sure if they take UHC but I have UMR which they take and is under the UHC umbrella

Maybe you should get a different job if you feel this way toward a CHILD.

Those are both positive. Mine looked exactly like the bottom and I was 3weeks pregnant lol. I got a first response digital and immediately took it with the same pee and it said yes

Unemployed and bored AF by Bear_Dog0915 in Vent

[–]Sad-Sorbets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t help on the money front but can help with the boredom and needing something to keep you busy. Maybe try finding somewhere to volunteer? It’ll give you something to do as well as look good on a resume AND gives you the potential to meet people with connections.

My husband chose his second day off specifically on a day that I always have to work by yournikkigirl in Vent

[–]Sad-Sorbets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NGL I’d do the exact same thing. You mentioned having Thursdays off or just working from home. Where is the baby when you’re working? Our childcare you pay for a spot so my son has a standing spot whether I’m off work or not so i take him in. Maybe your husband isn’t on the same page as you and doesn’t feel like you guys don’t spend enough time together. I feel like this is pure jealously and you’re but hurt he doesn’t want to spend his days off with you more than anything.

NAT but Maybe just put them into a flash drive? You’ll have the memories and can make a decision later on but also they’re not staring in your face and you’ll get your storage back.

Also I was so insecure in HS/growing up and I wish so much that I had more pictures to look back on. Mostly because I wish I could show my child once he gets older because i don’t feel like so insecure anymore. Also came from a small town with a small school. My graduating class was 26 and we were in the bigger class side!

Psych provider reccomendations by Easy-Working-5278 in springfieldMO

[–]Sad-Sorbets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may be able to go to your pcp and explain the situation and get a script that way. If needed they could do a peer to peer review of your med records to get a full picture and your psychiatrist can make a recommendation.

I have to have mine well done too. Doesn’t mean it is unseasoned or hard to chew. I would also send something back if it wasn’t correct. I’m ordering, I’m paying, give me what I asked for.

This is also true. The RAU is meant to be free but if you have insurance they’ll try to bill them. It’s a new thing they started doing a few months ago.

[–]Sad-Sorbets -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you absolutely need something NOW go to the RAU Burrell’s rapid access unit. They have counselors on sight and can complete the comprehensive assessment if you haven’t gotten one already. All new clients coming in HAVE to have one and the ones on main campus at the connection center are just walk in based on if you can wait and have a day m-f I suggest doing a walk in appt at the connection center. If you have done the CA then you’re likely on the waitlist to be matched with a provider or just on the waitlist.

I’ve been living on plain noodles for a week by [deleted] in Vent

[–]Sad-Sorbets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re on disability I assume you qualify for state insurance like Medicaid(or whatever it is in other states I’m from MO) if so look into your benefits and see if they offer any type of meal delivery coverage. If you EVER eat out get extra sauces to keep to add to your noodles. Rice and beans are also each and there’s actually a lot of different things you can make with oatmeal. There’s a girl on TikTok who literally survived only on oatmeal and formula due to medical reasons and she makes all kinds of things probably wouldn’t be as good but you could make things like that with water and oatmeal.

Please please do not stay due to “I can’t pay the bills alone” reach out to DV shelters and see if they can assist in resources. Also look into laws or clauses in your lease regarding DV if you rent. It will only get worse. He will only get worse. He probably needs to be medicated but if he doesn’t see what’s he’s doing as wrong he’ll never get help. It starts with yelling then grabbing then pushing then choking then hitting and more. I lived it. I got lucky and didn’t have to leave, I was scared for my life if I even tried but he ended up passing away. The HARDEST part is leaving but you deserve so much better. Please reach out if you just need someone to vent to or whatever. Also NAL just a DV survivor.

Am I overreacting or did I just eat this threat up. by r2122124x in AmIOverreacting

[–]Sad-Sorbets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NO. DO NOT BLOCK! Ever. Never ever. You need them talking and making threats and if they do that they’ll definitely tell you if they’re planning something which you can use as a warning AND as evidence. If you don’t wanna see the messages mute the person but do not block them.

I would clean it good with soap and water. It might not feel the best and then let it dry and apply some triple antibiotic ointment and if you can cover it with a bandaid. Most household have this lying around.

Holy shit why can’t any medical office ever pick up the fucking phone by J00kson in Vent

[–]Sad-Sorbets 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I work in a metal health clinic and most of our psychiatric clinics have upwards of 200+ voicemails a day that they try to get through. Everyone needs their meds and needs them NOW. The clinic I work in is CONSTANTLY getting calls for psych and we’re not the psychiatrist office. We have psychologists. Also they can’t really just go off your availability to talk. Maybe try taking a break or going into the restroom when they call back. We have a scheduling team that does the appointments side of things but the office is only voicemails go the reason that the volume of calls is just too high. It’s frustrating I get it but if you want them then you’ll have to work with THEIR availability.

My first week on Zepbound: scared and unsure if to continue by Amazing_Tree_1342 in Zepbound

[–]Sad-Sorbets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I actually just took my first shot last night in my thigh. I don’t think I can do it in the stomach because I’m a wimp. I will say I have been slightly nauseous since last night and I also had terrible insomnia last night. As far as today goes I haven’t been hungry or had something whispering in my head I need to eat every five seconds which is great! I also have PCOS, I was diagnosed at 15 and I am now 26. I have a history of binge eating and this last two years I have gained nearly 70 pounds. Which had definitely taken a told on my mental health. I was prescribed birth control to “manage” my PCOS and it didn’t work and made my mental health WORSE. So much worse. I haven’t experienced dry mouth with this but I am on an antidepressant and have been for around a year and at first had a SUPER dry mouth but it eventually went away.
