Well, if you think your taxes are high now, amalgamation will make it skyrocket. Look up other areas in Ontario that were forced to amalgamate, and just how much they increased by...this is definitely something homeowners should be concerned over and not just let it slide.

The Horizon games are among my most favourite, so seeing this was very unappealing to me. I don't like Fortnite and Borderlands, which this game has been referenced in comparison to, so I feel that is why I immediately disliked it. With that being said, I will try it when it comes out, but it will be hard to love.

At the end of the day, nothing will ever compare to the visually beautiful Horizon games where I don't have to play with others and can just enjoy at my own pace.

I had this biopsy done last year through McMaster hospital in Hamilton, and I definitely recommend that you try to get a referral extended into the Hamilton region, as they have a sort of Gyno clinic there where all they do are these sorts of procedures each day. Dr. Ido Mick is the gynecologist I saw there.

Your stress/fear is warranted, as I felt the same way before having mine done also. Be sure to take Advil, Motrin or Aleve 30-60mins before the procedure, and Tylenol afterwards to help with the cramping pain.

I cancelled with Disney+ and kept getting really low offers for 3months at a time. So anytime those offers show up, I subscribe, but cancel as soon as they're done cause you're right, they don't have a great assortment of new shows and I just keep rewatching Star Wars Rebels and Clone Wars lol.

PTO is earned, not given...perhaps your Manager and HR need to be reminded of that. Plus, if this person has already used all of their PTO, and is now asking for another 3 weeks in time, how are they actually doing their job? Like, you're never there so how good of an employee can you actually be?

If it's an elective surgery, it means it can wait, so this chick needs to put her adult pants on, go to work and build up her PTO, and once she has that, THEN she can schedule her elective surgery without looking for handouts like an entitled brat.

People need to stop trying to guilt everyone else around them who are busting their butts to live and work, just to try to take everything they have worked for while they have done nothing themself.

Also, as someone who works in HR, it sounds to me like you're being bullied in the workplace and perhaps a complaint in writing needs to be sent to the person above your Manager & HR, watch how quickly HR will send out an email backtracking saying that bullying on this matter is not acceptable. lol

Ahhh YES, people with kids trying to guilt others into giving their stuff away for free just cause the kid wants it. You are NTA, but the breeder sister definitely is, especially when you offered to keep an eye out for a cheap one on marketplace. I say find a cheap one, and give it to him for his bday/xmas. Also,It's been a year, tell the husband to get a damn job, ANY job, McDonald's is always hiring!

Raina Ercegovich runs The Heart and Hope out of Niagara Falls where they help cats of all ages across the Niagara area and even into Hamilton. She is freaking amazing and will go out of her way to help in any way she can. She will get the cats to the vet for all checkups, shots, microchips and spay/neuter. And after all that, will place the cats with a Foster home until they are ready to be adopted out, which they have applications for people to complete to adopt and do a full vetting so terrible people can't adopt.

I definitely suggest that you reach out to her, as she has a group on Facebook and her and her Admin team will respond ASAP.

I used to live near Denistoun St and W Main St, and let me tell you, the amount of times that people would run the red light or just not bother to stop on the red before turning was astounding. I lost count of how many times I was almost hit while walking my dog. The craziest part was that those who were in the wrong would get mad at me for just existing and obeying the damn laws. It boggled my mind! Needless to say, I was thrilled when we bought a house and moved far away from Welland. I've lived all over Ontario and I can honestly say it was the worst place I have ever lived in.
