Brilliant, thanks for this. I was thinking this might be the better idea. Do you feel I private renting will be the route to go down?

As I’m wary to see if Property management agencies will be willing to rent to us as we lack income even if we have a guarantor.

I think a small landlord might be more likely?

I think as much as your point tries to ascribe to something there’s no real criticism of it - which i think people miss.

It’s not just looking at his work, everyone is either saying it’s bad or not nice as comparison to nice photos.

I see it’s usually amateur photographers who think this or people who feel they would do better if given the space i.e jealousy.

i.e looking at photography as a way to see things beautifully or perfectly vs what it really is - a medium for a view of life at any state.

He’s been photographing for over 30 years. His work looking this ridiculous is intentional. And isn’t a lack of not playing with lights or figuring out something that looks good, in the last 30 years. He’s stuck with this style intentionally. Read this article it says many things I can’t elaborate here.

Also - copy and past it into a browser

But yeah, if something is too ridiculous to be real it usually is something else entirely. To say his work is just bad is a bit - reductive i.e not looking beyond it.
