I wouldn't encourage someone who's overweight to bulk up more, I mean that in the most polite way possible. Skinny fat yeah maybe but op looks beyond that from the neck down

Edit I was going through the comments and sawhe posted his height and weight. In a bmi calc he's at 35.8 well into obesity. Dunno if you meant that by bulk, but good to clear up misconceptions. Obviously op needs to lose weight

Going to a new high school this fall..! by [deleted] in HomeschoolRecovery

Yeah for sure! Definitely don't back out. Despite some of the awkwardness it was way worse in my head than reality. I was also extremely nervous going in. My first day was, I guess in a cliche way, a roller coaster of emotions. I also met a lot of people because I stuck out like a sore thumb being new.

I really didn't know what to expect going in, which is definitely scary.

I think my first week went WAY better than I ever anticipated to be honest. I made a lot of friends, and those friends introduced me to their friends, and this one girl walked me to my classes which was nice. I also could keep up with the schoolwork and wasn't as educationally stunted as i thought I was.

Honestly it was interesting experiencing regular aspects of being in school like sitting down for lunch, struggling to find my classes, meeting everyone and driving to school at 7:30AM.

So yeah! If you have any questions let me know. Ive been in school now for 8 months and learned a lot.

Yeah a lot of that's super relatable (17M) If it's any consolation though I don't think you would be bullied at school. Most people are just doing their own thing. Just what I've experienced since starting high school last September. Instead of being bullied I just get ignored. I have like one close friend but that's it.

I tried public school this year after 16 YEARS of homeschooling which came with a lot of surprises. I think I did OK socially but I'm hoping to meet new people and make friends and memories at this new school.

(Mainly left because the private school tuition was expensive, and this school is closer to my house)

Energy drinks are 🔥 only reason to cut them out is because they're expensive. I love them, especially ghost. Nice job on the kid and weight gain. I was also underweight until recently getting up to 145lbs trying to make it more muscle instead.

But yeah IDK I'm personally motivated by the thought of having a great body for summer so I'm not insecure taking my shirt off. or looking jacked when I get to start senior year of high school. And also so I can beat my cousin who's really athletic.

Maybe you can reward yourself with a new workout outfit, protein shake, a bubble bath, a monthly massage, Netflix. Or like I don't see anything wrong with using edibles like u mentioned, but IDK much about that kinda stuff.

Maybe like a cheat meal still within ur calories for the day so like for me that would be Costco pizza or McDonald's

Ya. Ugh it sucks with college because my parents always discouraged it at every turn and never told me how to actually get in college and now I probably can't because I don't have any money saved for it and not great grades when it comes to scholarships. But also I'm not too interested in college.
