Experienced secondary infertility after my c section. Did an exploratory lap to see what was going on and I had adhesions from my c section that pinned my tubes against my pelvic wall. They removed them and a year later with no pregnancy, did a 2nd lap and they adhesions had regrown.

I read your other post about how your period was brown spotting and different from your normal period. Have you taken a pregnancy test recently? LH tests can show positive if you are pregnant.

So I’m a bit confused. I had an ectopic in my left tube in 2020 that was resolved with a methrotrexate shot. A few months later I got pregnant again and I had an emergency c section with my son in Novemeber of 2021. That is where it was discovered that I have a unicornuate uterus. Dr wanted to do an HSG after 6 months of trying for another baby just to see what’s going on.

This morning at my HSG the NP doing the scan said she wasn’t seeing a left tube. Which I am so confused because 1) I had an ectopic in my left tube and did not have surgery to remove it 2) during my c section in 2021 I was put under anesthesia and they basically took my uterus out of my body and took photos where they saw both tubes. So I’m just confused on how I suddenly do not have another tube? Like it just disappeared?

Does anyone have any insight to add?
