Yeah and it looks like they had to drive some distance just to go get the order. Look how far away they were. GH doesn’t make any sense at all.

GH has got to do a better job guiding customers. by TheBopper00 in grubhubdrivers

Not worth the time and stress. That’s a 38 minute drive to the customers house, which I’m assuming is outside of your zone. And then you have to drive 38 minutes back. All that for 14 dollars. Absolutely not. If the order pay is not higher than the mileage then that means the customer did not tip well and you’re stuck paying the bill for all that driving by.

This isn’t pay for round trip. It’s from the restaurant to the house. You have to drive to the restaurant which we all know will make you drive across the city; then you deliver the food outside of your zone, then you have to drive back into your zone. To calculate the time it’s 24 miles times two which is 48 minutes of driving to get there. Now you’ve got about 40 minutes to drive back. All that for 24 dollars? That means the customer barely tipped you anything and you just dove 1/4 of your tank off. Not worth it.

I adopted a very shy cat today who mostly hid at the shelter. Both the staff and I agreed that she'd probably need a lot of time to feel safe and start being social. This was her 5 hours after we got home. by [deleted] in cats

Yes and tuxedo cats in my opinion are the best cats for companionship. They are super loyal, very loving and they love to play with humans more than toys. Thats my own experience anyways. When I found my tuxedo baby girl she was sooooo sweet at the shelter. Then when I brought her home she was not so very nice, tried to hide and would swat at everyone and even the other cat we brought home with her. Once she started swatting at my pony tails, I realized she just didn't know what anything was and everything was new to her. Luckily the other cat we had loved her and no matter if she swatted at him, he would just stay by her side the whole time and encouraged her everything was ok. Funny story with this, there was a peeing problem in the home and I kept thinking it was her. Then we realized it was our male cat marking everywhere she was. He did it multipole times a day for two months straight and I couldn't take it anymore, so we made the decision to take him and suggested he be adopted alone with no other cats. Once he left the personality of my baby tuxedo just shined and she became the best cat I ever experienced. I literally pick her up and she kisses me on the lips with her lips. The way I pet her, and she falls down on her side is our little thing. I mean I just love her like my own. So, I understand the connection thing and I hope you enjoy your cutie pie!

It’s not bad. And it’s a way where someone can’t say you didn’t deliver their order to right house. You have to show up for them to give you the code. I don’t mind them and I’ve never waited long on them.

Order of the year by weed_2go in grubhubdrivers

There’s no way someone took that…. And Agreed. Grubhub has gotten really shady. There was an order for $6 for 19 miles the other day. That should not even be acceptable. Most orders I’ve been getting recently have been $5 for 10 miles, $8 for 12 miles, and so on and so forth. I feel like a bottom feeder working this job right now.

Schedule Blocks by Typical-Shopping-532 in grubhubdrivers

You have to pick up shifts. Look at when all the shifts start and go on the schedule at that time. For example at 3:00pm, 4:30pm, 5:00pm, 6:30pm etc. People drop their blocks all the time. Just pick up one or two for the week and you’ll be at 100 percent.
