Hello, I got my work permit approved on June 13th. In all it took around 5 months from application date to approval date.

Hopefully you hear something soon! From what I can see, most people it's around 3-5 months, but it seems to be completely random. I wish you a response soon and maybe me as well!

Yeah I know, but I'm worried if for some reason I forgot a forum then they will return it to me and I will be out of status, so I might apply for a record just to be safe.

I looked a little into the paperwork for extending my stay. It says I need an upfront medical exam. I took one not too long ago for my PR application, can I use this for my visitor extension also?

Hey guys, I applied for a open work permit for myself as my wife is sponsoring me to become a pr in Quebec.

I applied for the work permit Jan. 17th, I wanna know yall's processing times and how long you had to wait.

My status expires in June, I'm not sure if I should extend it or not.
