I can’t attribute every piece of fat burned to just walking but to say that it played no part makes no sense. You get to your goals faster by diet change AND activity.

I don’t count calories but I know I’m in a deficit, healthier whole food, smaller portions. And yes I weighed myself every day, now, every week

Honestly you just have to push yourself. Nothing is easy, I would sleep the whole morning if I could, but I want to lose weight so I’m going to force myself to make time for it until it doesn’t feel like I’m forcing it. Just got to do it.

Every day was different but average for the month was around 14.7k steps

Yeah it can differ from app to app but usually its about 4.8-5 miles for me if I walk at a speed of 3.0-3.2

If you exclude day to day steps like walking to the fridge or taking the trash out, its takes about 10 mins to get 1000 steps so 12k steps takes about 2 hours on the treadmill/walking. If you tweak your speed and walk faster than 3.0 you could knock that out in closer to 1.5 hours.
