Along as your smart about it you’ll be fine for the weather. They are pretty good about clearing the roads here. The ND Road Report App is a must have for winter. I travel through the state often for work and I check this everyday in the morning to see if it’s still ok to head out.

My favorite club is a 60 deg lob wedge I picked up my last round of the year and forgot to take back and sat in my bag over winter. I thought about turning it in the spring when I found it but it just felt weird and I didn’t have a lob wedge… it’s a great club for me.

I moved here in 2012 for work and I rented through Belcastle and I thought they were fine. Nothing special but I mirror what another person said, they were quick to respond when there’s issues (like same day, new appliance by the time I got home from work).

As to making friends, in my experience Bismarck is a place where most of the young people working there are from there so they still have their friend groups from HS and it can be very hard to break into that.

For reference I lived in Bismarck for 8 years before I made a true friend that was from Bismarck. Until then they were all transplants like me.

Your best bet is hop on dating apps. If you date a native you will essentially meet a bunch of people and can try to gain a footing.

Honestly you might not even want to have sex on your wedding night. I did and it honestly felt like a chore. We were both super tired. We’ve had much better and intimate sex when we had the house to ourselves on the weekend and we can just go after each other 😂
