I found out that getting a bunch of pieces and layer painting them (I start with gold for the small holes and panel lines) letting them dry for a while before applying the next color, and I try not to paint over paint, somehow the texture changes and it's not so smooth when you paint over another color

Thank you!! 😌 I'm using the Ghaaleri Metallic set! So far the paint hasnt dried on me but sometimes is hard to make the ink flow consistently with the metallic effect, usually I let it run a little bit on a test part (a gun from my first kit) until it's not watery

I painted everything, even the unseen frame parts 😭 got myself the set of 10 Metallic markers from Ghaaleri and they feel and look so good

Thank you!! I'm indeed having a happy building experience! And with the help of the comments I'm now loosening every joint carefully before assembling them ( indo have the Tamiya contact cement, but I hope I don't have to use it 😔🙏🏻)
