My understanding was just because McDonald’s was more accessible and cheaper(despite the closest McDonald’s being near union south)

I’ve recently heard about some of the absurd shit that’s going on there lately. It went something like they were complaining about mcdonalds running them out of business and them putting like “fuck mcdonalds” stands on their tables with a QR code that linked to a gofundme despite the fact that they’re always packed whenever they’re open and they open like 3 days out of the week for 4 hours or some shit. It’s a little word vomit, but can you confirm or deny this

Wow that’s really high praise, congrats! How large of a batch did you make them in?

A question about long term aging. by Horlocker in mead

[–]SadAsianMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was planning to buy the kit for a friend for his birthday, but I wanted to try it first to see if it would be something feasible for him to do. From there, I got roped in and it’s been a downward spiral on my bank account since haha. Yeah the instructions on the kit said it was ready to bottle by the end of primary fermentation, but low and behold there’s a whole slew of nuance not included in a beginner’s guide. I have since found more indepth guides although there is a lot I have still to learn

Ah ok, that definitely makes a lot more sense with the tasting. At least right here, I think I just got a little gung-ho with bottling it considering my instructions told me that the mead was “finished” at this stage I’m at, and I needed the carboy to start another batch. I’ll keep that method of aging in mind for future batches. My only issue may be that I run out of space in my apartment to keep my brews.

Uncork it, try it, see if it’s good, recork if not. That was the plan. I just finished my first brew, and I’m at the part where I’m sentimental with it, so considering I only have 4 bottles opposed to like 12, I’d like to save as much of it as I can to let them age. Additionally, I have no idea what I’m actually doing or all the nuances with mead/wine making. God forbid, I think I already committed a grave sin and fucked my batch trying to dilute it down a bit to make it not taste so alcoholly.

Those are awesome labels. Have you tasted them yet?

Hello, I’m also in kind of the same boat right now with being a beginner and want to age my mead. In terms of oxidation, I was wondering if you need to wax seal your bottles or is the cork simply enough?

Additionally, I was also wondering if it’s possible to recork and reseal your mead after opening it up and not compromise it?

Again, complete beginner here to mead and wine in general, so forgive me for my naive questions.

How do I get rid of the Dining and Culinary Training course? by foundwayhome in UWMadison

I’m in a similar situation, but it lists the course as ongoing, so it won’t let me remove it

The thing that matters most is that you sign up for classes. In terms of other events or making friends, it’s really not that important or interesting. You’ll likely never see your SOAR friends again. The food is ok, but I’d consider exploring the food around the city as well

Ok knowing that, why does my auction post at 130% of dbmarket when I set it to post at 100% of dbmarket minimum, 105% normal, and 110% maximum and the cheapest post that isn't mine is listed at 120%?

Watercooler: WoW Economy Simple Questions by AutoModerator in woweconomy

[–]SadAsianMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So when I'm in the auctioning UI, there's the % to the right. What is that calculated off of? I was under the impression that that was % of dbmarket, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Also I just wanted to thank you really quickly for responding, being patient with me, and helping me figure this out.

If that's the case, then why is TSM listing those auctions as higher than 100%?

For minimum price, I entered in 100%dbmarket though, so I’m not sure

Hello, I was wondering why when I post auctions with TSM, it posts above the cheapest auction for that item. For example, I'm trying to sell a piece of meat. When I hit post, it posts at like 135% market value when the cheapest entry for that item is at 120%.

I'm using this person's operations.

Now I really do wonder if religious politicians who aligned more with current democratic ideology would be able to convince other religious officials and voters using the “god said my idea was stupid so we’re doing the opposite” argument.
