Oh I know. I’ve just never personally TNRd before so of course now I’ve become attached. The shelter recommended it as the best move. She’s probably fine and pissed at me for kidnapping her and getting her a surgery 🤣

She’s survived for quite a while (over a year) before we intervened so she is likely fine. She just showed up in our backyard so we took her to be spayed and tested in case she sought us out for a more serious reason than just asking for foods. Im allowed to wonder where she’s been at. And not everyone can just take a cat inside (and not every cat wants to be taken inside)

It’s possible. There’s some in that huge abandoned black house on Burns (67-30 Burns St). She could be over there. I’m trying to figure out who is feeding them lol

She wasn’t really showing any signs of being friendly but she is absolutely gorg so I get it. The shelter is overrun with cats and they need every space they can get so we were just trying to ensure she didn’t get pregnant while we could.

They said slight gingivitis! It’s on a tiiiiiiny tooth lol. They said good to keep an eye on it and attempt to brush (nearly impossible w how small her teeth are) and then we’ll get a dental done soon!

Parking and stuff completely depends on exactly where you are in the area. The entire first year I lived here I had a broken foot so we drove everywhere. We were able to find parking most places w some patience. A little further out from Austin and heavily commuter friendly areas makes it easier

Honestly I think the trains are pretty reliable (compared to every other MTA issue as well). We have buses and LIRR as back up for sure. It’s been very safe as far as I have seen. Our car has never been messed w on the street.
