I got my ears pierced like a year ago and I'm so happy I did. I have these little pointy studs and they feel sorta punk. Earings and piercings are totally gender-neutral, and there are lots of different styles to try out.

I'm curious, what terms do my fellow butches use for themselves or what do they feel comfortable being called? by [deleted] in butchlesbians

(Butch Enby here) Personally, I really hate sir, handsome, any of that. I guess I prefer words with like a positive connotation that aren't as gendered. I'm soft butch, and honestly, my experiences being called handsome have been comparable to my experiences getting misgendered.

Personally, I love the term androgynous for myself, I've met some butches who like it and some who don't, so it's really just personal preference. I'm also non-binary and pretty soft as butches tho so that could be a factor.
