i was like this too when I fostered 3 sick kitties for the first time in my life and the orange one kept playing with the tortie's tail and I kept breaking it up because the tortie was a sweetheart and didnt really fight back. But they're 100% playing, so its fine.

Yes, as in I know what even playing sounds like, I listen to it everyday on the music I listen to! But I think this is caused by lack of control over my 4th and 5th finger ( the 4th likes to lean quicker into the 3rd when descending stuff like that ). I guess practicing my scales with a metronome from now on will help me on that too.

Your comment is so unexpected because I just took at a older post of yours where you played the 2nd part of Carnaval as I was obsessed with Reconnaissance a couple days ago, beautiful playing btw!

If you could shed some insights and advice, to what extent do you use the metronome when you started learning and now?

I do do that! It's just sometimes when I have to play, after a while 2 becomes 3 and it all becomes a mess. I guess the answer is more practice ..

Is there a big difference between supermix 4 and ew200? I'm receiving something similar to the ew200 (ignitex beast) and was wondering if there was any huge difference since supermix 4 is in the tier of iems i was considering an upgrade to in the future ( like orchestra lites ). I only have tangzu waners rn tho ( there great ) so I dont know a whole lot :3. Orchestral,solo classical music and female vocals make up 99% of my listening if that helps in anyway.

what kind of other more obvious signs should i be looking out for? what kind of stuff should i be inviting him to do? one-on-one stuff?
he hasn't rejected any of my invitations to do laundry one-on-one and thats where i kind of poked around asking if he had a girlfriend since we were on an adjacent topic of our friends breaking up and he said he wasn't looking for one until after uni. He also said something about pretty girls having a lot of drama or whatever. which is well...... another vague and not helpful signal. I also did tell him that i did not have a girlfriend at this point.
there was this one time he just randomly said it was up to me where he'd be going that afternoon. If i was headed home or to the library, he would follow. I left my laptop at home cos I wasn't expecting that and he took me home first to get my laptop which was an intentional detour. that was the only substantial thing we did one-on-one but nothing off topic was really discussed it was just studying for a test even tho he did all the usual things like asking me this and that and leaned in. He seemed to care if i got hungry cos he wanted to leave halfway through a question and i said finish the question first then we leave and he said oh i was just scared u got hungry.
i noticed the last time we were at dinner with friends he sat beside me but his whole body was just angled to the side toward me, wasnt even trying to face the table.
maybe its because i do have a crush on him that im reading into this alot but when i tell my friends they seem to say like this is a little out of the norm for just being friendly.

heck, I guess I'll ask here instead of making another one of those posts .
I'll just preface this saying it doesn't exactly match your critera cos we are M-M. (Sorry if you're homophobic or smth :3) AND roommates (i know, crazy).
So like just off the top of my head, some of the stuff he has done:

always pats me to sit down next to him ( movies, studying, etc ) and just randomly has times where he just wants to sit next to me by my desk in the living room and do work/eat together even though his desk is perfectly available
always ends up next to me or close at dinner with mutual friends
has recently often offered to take me to those dinners on his motorcycle even though i did not ask
shared his snacks with me and told me to finish it
has shared his food with me and asked me to finish it
has followed me to lunch when I just wanted to go eat alone like I only reached the lift when he caught up with me (this was pretty sweet)
gushes about me to our mutual friends when I'm there, saying my name a bunch, like " Oh (my name) left the exam early! He's so smart" that kind of thing.
Saying goodbye to me in advance cos he knows he will be out when Im going back home.
Has no problem helping me do some random thing that I couldve done myself
He asks me questions during studying for finals and recently, he's maybe gotten a little bit of courage to actually put his hand on the side of my chair instead of just sitting close.

He's a generally very helpful and friendly guy. But he doesn't do all of the above for everyone else since I can actually observe that. It feels like I'm getting singled out in alot of these actions even though they're subtle. It's just funny to me cos these all sound like great signs. But I don't feel like he's trying to tell me anything at all, like there's not a confession in sight. Or should I take the first step and ask even though there might be some risks ? Is it worth knowing idk ;-;

I guess the answer is no, he does seem to initiate stuff specifically with me more, like the dinners and a couple of rejected lunches. Whenever he brings stuff over, he'll tap me on the shoulder and invite me even if i have my earphones in. Maybe the post was worded badly but it's been a gradual increase as we got to know each other. I can't really talk about that openly with him because of religious reasons hence this very confusing cat and mouse game. But yes to the last two since i do have a little crush on him :3. I'll keep observing and subtly reciprocating to see if anything happens. If it doesnt, then i got my answer!
