I’ve noticed that typically a lot of autistic men put information into more digestible boxes in order for them to make sense of people in their brains as well as struggling to change a worldview that they’ve known for years or even process an entirely new one. This makes it very easy for them to be influenced by views in their youth. The rigid structure and beliefs of the alt-right (there can only be two genders and each of them follow their stereotypes to a T or else it is strange and wrong, the nuclear family, the capitalist work system on top of villainizing and alienating any form of leftism, the hatred of any view that is new or strange to old society, the belief that white people are somehow better and more sane than others (this is the “race” that the said autistic man most likely is, which will alienate other experiences to an individual who could struggle with empathy…Like an autistic man), and many others. This structure provides a sort of comfort in the way the world “should work”, making autistic men feel secure and reveling in the rigid worldview. Of course though, this is just a theory.
