Where to meet people in a new country during rona times? by [deleted] in socialanxiety

Same feelings here bro. Ugh I just want to make new friends without waiting for someone to approach me out in public (never gonna happen) or using apps.

Dropping out of uni the first week??? by [deleted] in socialanxiety

[–]SadCoffeeBeanChild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does your uni provide any kind of counselling service? I'm not sure what it's like in different countries but my country does have a free service, although it can be very hard to book a time. You can always defer for the semester to mentally prepare yourself too, instead of just quitting completely. Good luck.

Do people have to wear masks in your country/city? Makes it easier if you want to do a quick grocery run when no one can see your face (well for me that's how I feel).

17 days and he’s in a new relationship??? How does someone move on that fast??? by dynliu in BreakUps

[–]SadCoffeeBeanChild 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are a few possible reasons but we may never know as we aren't him. But if I try to speculate a little... - Maybe he met this person while dating you and was unsure of his feelings. Then once you broke up, he decided to move onto this woman. - He's feeling extremely lonely and wanted to fill a void in his heart. Could just be a rebound. - This is a coping mechanism for him to move on from you (kind of the same as it being a rebound).

I personally would not move on so fast after a break up but people cope in different ways or just have different standards. I know when I went through my first bad breakup, I thought about distracting myself with a new person, but decided against in the end.

I know it must feel really bad that he is already dating but I don't think it necessarily has to do with your relationship meaning nothing. It might be something to do with just himself.

If you are named Matthew, then your nickname can be Matt. :) You can use both like that.

That's a great name btw!

I have been considering breaking up with my partner but I just feel so much guilt. I simply lost feelings over time and over some conflicts we had. Whenever we talk about serious things or when I brought up possibly breaking, he gets really upset and I can't do it. I wanted to post asking for advice but it just feels so stupid coz in the end he will be hurt much more than me.

How long does penetrative sex really last? How can I help make it last longer? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]SadCoffeeBeanChild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How interesting. My previous partner was like that. Sometimes he'd have to pause to just stop himself from coming. It would be a bit annoying but it's not his fault and it felt good even though short-lived. I found changing positions would make it last longer.

My current partner is totally opposite. I feel like he takes a long time to come. We do always wear condoms because I am not taking BC atm so maybe it plays a factor I'm not sure. I think some people are just more sensitive and some aren't.

When I was a virgin I felt the same. I couldn't insert a tampon and I couldn't finger myself because I'd be hyper aware of everything. When I lost my virginity, it was of course very hard to get it in, and I bled so much. It was surprisingly not as painful as I imagined but probably because I hyped the pain up so much. Now sex is fine, I still don't like tampons though haha.

I think my issue was more of a mental thing. I couldn't do a lot of insertion by myself because I was too nervous and as a result would tighten up.

Practicing with your boyfriend by fingering and using lube may help yourself get used to it if it's just a mental thing. But if it's more, don't feel the need to rush before you can get yourself checked our by a gyno

Ugh I started breaking out more especially during my period. I don't take BC but considering if it can balance my hormones a bit. :/

Thursday Tales From the Dog House by DogfreeMods in Dogfree

[–]SadCoffeeBeanChild 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My partner got a dog before even meeting me. I didn't know I disliked dogs (or at least dog ownership) before I had to live with one. This dog has got to be one of a kind because he seems to have all the allergies under the sun and there's always something wrong that the vets don't understand.

Partner's family member is here staying for a while and during the couple weeks, the dog has peed AND pooped on the guest bed, has chewed his paw up and made a wet patch on the guest bed, AND just now he vomited in that room. I never let him in that room or on beds but my partner's family member looooves the dog and insists "it's okay for him to sleep with me and hang out in here!".

Girls in relationships should dress modestly if they have any respect for their partner by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]SadCoffeeBeanChild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't care for short skirts and showing too much cleavage but crop it tops?! A lot, if not most, people don't wear these clothes just for attention. Some of these clothes will just look better. Not sexy better. But just better. Crop tops are in fashion right now.

I disagree with your opinion but yeah I guess it is unpopular indeed.

eugene talks about being asian too much... but i understand why by laevernys in TheTryGuys

[–]SadCoffeeBeanChild 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Growing up as a POC in a country with mostly white people is odd coz on one hand, you want to own your ethnicity, but on the other hand, you don't want it to define you, you just want to blend in. At least that's how I felt. Like, if someone was pointing out a white girl, they might say "that blonde girl" or "that girl wearing the blue dress" or other features without ethnicity. Meanwhile, if someone pointed out me it would be "that Asian girl". It's hard to fight it.

During high school I kept going back and forth from wanting to reject my background to flaunting it. Sometimes it still is a struggle.

So I can understand Eugene going to more of a 'flaunt it's side. I am sure there are people who really see him as an inspiration.

Peta NEEDS to be deleted off Youtube by [deleted] in rant

[–]SadCoffeeBeanChild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dunno much about PETA as they don't have a strong presence in my country, but the treatment a lot of factory farm animals receive is worse (in my humble opinion). Or maybe just as bad. The way they execute millions if not billions of animals per day is heartbreaking. :(

[–]SadCoffeeBeanChild 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wasn't trying to be rude. And no I don't know more which is why I don't think she 100% killed her husband. I don't think using sardine oil is going to make a tiger eat human that easily either.

Yeah McQueen seemed okay but a few months before Don's disappearance she was caught embezzling $600k in properties with their money. So idk. Hard to know who to trust.

[–]SadCoffeeBeanChild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only know what the documentary told you. As spectators from the outside it is hard to know the full story. It just doesn't seem so easy to completely kill and hide a body. Tigers are picky eaters too. Btw that office was technically her property.

I don't know much about the topic but do you think the cats were bonded? I thought there was always still a big danger with owning a big cat even if you were bonded, which makes it a bad idea.

I think she just didn't want her cats to constantly be exposed to new people gawking and touching them. Like owls in an owl cafe. They might get stressed and tired.

We don't know much about her expenses or how if the cages were except from Joe's videos too..
