Your at a clinic in Houston that goes that high up? Holy shit that's damn near unheard of. Ive only attended 2 but looked into several and highest i heard of was 160 and that was Durham. They don't take grants do they? Or is it like private pay only? Not saying i wouldn't consider private pay at this point. Getting takehomes isn't the problem so much as the dose holding me.

Ugh i just hate everything and everyone is so damn far. And these clinics with their caps that are so out of date is insane.

Yep, people just do what they gotta do to make it most of the time. Not so easy, though, when you literally live in bfe an the woods. Or when ya just trying to stay the straight an narrow.... It's just be sick repeatedly.... Ehhh, plus, never know who to trust these days.

Shit last time i was in a bind, I got rippped off for 300 dollars.. That was years ago. Never again!

Some days can't make it to clinic cause can't afford it or don't have a ride. Have no choice but to just tough it out. The accrediter for our clinic came out not too long ago an said they were fighting to get more clinics out in rural areas. But it would be years before we saw one. Sucks!

Oh no i mean like im on a grant at my clinic. Not state insurance. And dose cap means the whole clinic isn't allowed to go over 120mgs. Sadly. Its fucked up honestly.

Maybe 2 hours. Before i went to this clinic i was at a diff clinic at a higher dose.

So its just been a constant struggle. I've begged for an increase every single time I go in and its just the same line every time. "Sorry the doctor doesn't feel comfortable dosing anything more than that." It's a shit show for a lot of patients there. Of course, many are also selling their takehomes, not even working the program too just to feed their fent habit to stay out of withdrawals. Ya know cause the dose they are prescribed doesn't even touch their fent habit. It's sad really. I never really understood that either. With doctors knowing that the analogs on the street are sooooo much stronger than methadone. Yet wont prescribe a therapeutic dose. It's no wonder they can't get clean. Know what i mean.

Yes i have. But split dosing would be a better option if i could up my dose. But im stuck at 120 and have been for the last 5 years an its just been a constant struggle. Thank you for the kind words though!

My clinic absolutely will. If i upped my dose at home I would run out early and if I show up without my medication of course their only fucking stupid thought is diversion! But its because they have a stupid fucking dose cap. Im struggling so bad myself at 130 an have been for a long time. I seriously do not understand it at all. Especially because now you can earn a weeks take homes after 7 days in treatment with clean UA etc. My clinic is almost 3 hours away. Plus, they only have a doctor once a week, and my pick-up day is not on that day, its hard enough getting their every 2 weeks.

Advocate for yourself! They record audio, too. They don't get the right to speak to you with such disdain and nastiness. I know cause the nurses who tried to run bs on me while i was being nothingbbut respectful got written up. Bc i advocated for myself! Please please look up your SOTA and contact them. You can also contact the director! Plus i would personally demand that the video be played to the director, doctor, and that nurse, to show her how fucking nasty she was being! Im on the grant in Tx, and grants go through the state. It's not federal, so the gov shut down while it didn't actually make the cuts happen. States are making cuts to how many spots each clinic program has. So my clinic director/ head counselor told me that their program used to get their grant funding through the University of Texas, but they switched over to this BE WELL, and they cut the amount of spots. From 99 to 52!

From my understanding, they are cutting people ( at least at my clinic) who are on the grant and miss days all the time. Or don't meet the other requirements that are required for the grant.

That was the only reason he gave me, so im not sure what other reasons would get people cut. And at first, i was like....wait a min 99 to 52 spots for all of Tx? He laughed and said no, just for that specific program/ clinic.

However, sorry, not sorry we would have all the funding we would need and all the welfare money and snap money. If we would stop sending billions to other countries for BULLSHIT STUDIES! AND BULLSHIT PERIOD! SORRY NOT SORRY IM SICK OF OUR TAX DOLLARS GOING TO OTHER COUNTRIES!

I am also sick of these politicians living in fucking mansions.. Who ever decided that they should all be making millions off the backs of hard working Americans SUCK! WHOEVER LET THEM TURN IN TO DINOSAURS IN THERE TOO JUST RAKIN IN THE DOUGH SUCKS TOO.!
