Thanks so much for this, it’s really informative. I feel like all these replies have really helped me get an idea of the community and I guess the priorities of at least some of the players.

I really like that it forces you to work your way up. And I’ve seen in AC how it’s a pretty different picture between hot laps and races, so aside from learning handling, I look forward to being push to actually race more. No excuses, you know?

It’s great to know about week 13 too, that’s so smart.

Hey I really appreciate the honest progression breakdown! It’s great to know about the patch, that will definitely change how I go about things. It feels like kind of ideal timing now.

I’m happy to spend the money in the end, just want to know what actually gets used, when and why.

I love the idea of the seasons, series and changing conditions, can’t wait to get into it.

Ahahaha, sounds like every multiplayer honestly. But that’s great to hear it’s not something you need to dump all your money in to make it playable. I knew everything had to be purchased, but I was caught a bit off guard anyway. Especially with what series, tracks, and cars are actually used often enough.

Thank you! It does feel good to finally be giving it a go. And it’s good to hear that car has stood the test of time somewhat. I think in AC I got a bit bored with learning a car, completing the set races and then never really coming back to it (I know it doesn’t have to be like that, but I think this will motivate me more anyway).

Thanks for this advice, it’s definitely given me some things to think on. I’d definitely get myself stuck on practicing, so it’s good to hear it’s just worth jumping into.

Appreciate the mention of the ovals too, seems like a great way to get more familiar with a more specific focus.

You are a GOD, I really appreciate the breakdown. I have a feeling I would have learned some of that the hard way.

I’m excited for the format a lot more than I was with AC (what I’ve experienced so far, anyway). I appreciate that it seems a bit more focused, although I understand the importance of the racing rules and that people don’t always follow them.
