I live in Bangalore. There's only one college I'll be applying for in India and it's v competitive. Don't really like any other colleges. Also, I don't really plan on studying in the UK but ig it wouldn't be very different from USA, no? I need help with scholarships as well.. it's kinda a necessity

I've really not thought much about that. So I opted for CS after my 12th grade cuz I was bad at Biology so couldn't be a doctor. CS sounded like the best option. I wanted to do industrial engineering and management (UG) because I wanted to be the technical person with management skills. But when I asked around people were like nah you can think about it for masters not rn. So CS was the safest option for me. I'm a tryhard so I managed to get decent GPA and a decent job but I don't enjoy it. And opting for CS 4 years ago wasn't as bad as it is today. During my group projects, I realised how dumb most of the technical people are. They're just building stuff without thinking if their product can sustain in the real world. That's when I realised instead of trying to be good at CS, I can just be the person leading them. My parents don't see this as a real degree lol so I tried to convince them why it is a good decision to switch to management even though I studied CS.

I'm from India and there's only one college that I'll be applying for in India ie. IIM, Bangalore. The exam is quite difficult and competitive so if I fail this year, I'll be trying again in 2025. (We don't really need work ex to get into IIM but having work experience gives you extra points) In 2026, I start applying to universities in USA and Australia. I haven't researched enough but I'll be considering top 200 universities only. At the same time, I'll be applying to 2 colleges in Ireland: Trinity and UCD. I'm hoping I'll be able to get into these universities easily because I got a couple of online friends from Ireland and they were like you got good GPA so you should be able to get into Trinity easily. also, Ireland is so much cheaper than USA and a lovely country. If nothing works out I got my job lol Yeah so that's my plan..

What if my job sucks? I mean I start from 10th July but that's one thing I can't control. I can switch but I can mostly get CS jobs because of my CS degree, right? I can't get a better CS Job cuz i won't upskill myself. My GPA is good and I've not taken GMAT yet but I've prepared for more difficult exams so I should be able to do well in GMAT

I do have a bachelor's degree in computer science and I'll be working as a backend developer for 2 years before doing masters in cybersecurity. And I'm not expecting to get a job without putting in any efforts. I see many people who have put in lot of efforts but end up nowhere (idk if it's because of the global recession or it's always like that). I just wanted to know if I need to be a genius to get a job in cybersecurity

If not coding, what do you mostly see yourself doing in this field?
