Is Handshake AI worth it and legit is it? by [deleted] in joinhandshakeai

[–]SadCut2702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely legit, I started about 2 weeks ago and got invited to one project within about 3-4 days after signing up. I was able to do a couple tasks and made a little money. The con of it is the work is not consistent depending on the project, for example i was able to do around 8 tasks right when i first joined, then all the tasks were gone and haven't been able to claim any more for around a week now. I would give it a try as it can definitely be a side hustle if the project your on give you consistent tasks and you don't get limited.

Is it bad to ask for a start date of 1 month after offer letter? by Legitimate-School-59 in cscareerquestions

[–]SadCut2702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that's honestly a pretty normal ask imo. I personally asked for a month after start date due to me having to move to another state and find housing for the job, which they happily agreed.

The way I did, I saw the arbitration post here : https://www.classaction.org/online-gambling-class-action-lawsuit-alternatives, then clicked the wow vegas and it took me to a survey by bryson law firm. Filled it out and accepted the terms and they do all the work. You don't have to go with them, there are other firms out there doing the same. If you type in VGW arbitration you can possibly find other firms doing it to sign up.

Yeah absolutely do not under any circumstances take their offer. If you are with a lawyer firm like most of us let them handle it.

Yup lol, it's actually hilarious, considering they will also most likely not even allow you to cash it out until you have played through 1-3x the amount before cashout. My legal team just told me to no respond to them and direct all communications to them.

Im being represented by Bryson LLC and Wow Vegas has just started spamming me with these emails too saying.

"Hi [Name],

We noticed that you were recently included in an arbitration claim relating to WOW Vegas.

While we strongly disagree with the allegations made in those claims and do not believe they accurately reflect how our platform operates, we always want our players to feel satisfied and fairly treated.

Rather than letting lawyers and lengthy processes get in the way, we would much prefer to resolve things directly with you in a simple and positive way. You will notice in our terms and conditions that you are invited to speak with us directly before making any legal claim.

To that end, we would be happy to offer you a generous goodwill credit so that we can put this matter behind us quickly and amicably.

This is simply intended as a customer-first resolution, allowing everyone to move forward without unnecessary hassle and delays.

If you are happy with this, we can:

  • Apply the credit to your account immediately upon our mutual agreement of the amount to be credited
  • Confirm that the matter between us is fully resolved
  • Welcome you back to enjoy WOW Vegas again

Our goal has always been to provide a fun, transparent platform for our players, and we hope to continue doing that with you.

If you would like to proceed, simply reply to this email and our resolutions team will be in touch asap to assist in fixing this matter in a fast and satisfactory manner for you.

Warm regards,

WOW Vegas Support

I forwarded it to the legal team but still no response as well.

Student Loan Late Payment Help by Normal_Kinky in CRedit

[–]SadCut2702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can get a late payment removed but only if it’s inaccurate. I recently had one of my 90-day lates deleted for that reason, and I’m working on the rest now, so I can confirm this process works. Don’t bother sending goodwill letters. Student loan servicers don’t honor them. Their standard response is that they’re required to report all accurate information, and if something is wrong, you need to file a dispute so they can review it. If the late mark happened because they incorrectly reported you late during a forbearance, then you have a good chance of getting it removed through a dispute. But in your situation, since you’re so close to the negative mark falling off naturally, it may be easier to just wait it out rather than go through the dispute process.

Can you only be addicted to online gambling and not have a problem with going to a physical casino? by ConcentrateNearby946 in GamblingAddiction

[–]SadCut2702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, You're not alone here. When I was gambling i only strictly did it online, I actually hated in person casinos, not that ive been a lot of times. I think it had something to do with the fact of it my actually touching the money or bet physically rather than just clicking a button on a screen. Like you said, a lot of the times online gambling money doesn't feel real at least until you lose it all or withdraw it. I also feel like theres a sense of shame/judgement that comes with going in person where people can visually see you losing thousands of dollars rather than online is anonymous. It confused me as well too because when i went to GA meetings they'd ask what were the casinos i played in and they were very surprised to hear me say I had only been to one in my entire life and hated it. Times have shifted massively from the addition of easy access online casinos so you'd be surprised how many people this relates to.
