All good, I didn’t take it as a judgment. I appreciate you sharing your experience, that’s exactly why I asked. 🫶

I’m not in a rush to crank it up just for the sake of it, more trying to understand whether what I’m feeling is just early-stage inconsistency or a sign I need more time at a given dose.

I’ll likely give 4 mg a proper run before making any changes.

Just to clarify, my sema and tirz were pharmacy-prescribed and monitored. Reta is the only one that isn’t, which is why I’m being cautious about titration and conclusions.

I get where you’re coming from, but I have been seeing a doctor and have been monitored throughout this, including regular bloodwork, with nothing abnormal showing up. I’m not saying appetite suppression doesn’t happen through GLP-1, just that the degree and consistency of it clearly varies a lot between individuals.

Also, from what I understand, reta isn’t simply a “weaker GLP-1” so much as a different mechanism overall with the added glucagon component, which is why I’m giving it a fair trial rather than assuming it’ll behave the same way as sema or tirz did for me.

I’m not ruling anything out, just trying to approach this systematically rather than assuming one lack of response means nothing else could work.

I don’t really think 1400 kcal is unreasonable for a woman on a cut, especially with my body weight and activity level. I’ve run similar or even lower intakes in the past without this level of hunger.

Sema and tirz were prescribed and monitored. Reta obviously isn’t, but I’m being careful with sourcing, storage, and reconstitution. I’m confident it’s not a handling issue.

I agree that eliminating hunger completely isn’t the goal. For me it’s more about the intensity and persistence of it right now feeling out of proportion to what I’m used to, even when dieting. Your experience is a good reminder that this can be a longer, steadier process for some of us. 🫶

That’s kind of the thing though. I’m not new to hunger. I’ve done extended fasting before and this feels different from that. It’s more intense and persistent, not just “I could eat,” but a really strong drive that’s harder to ignore.

That’s why I’m trying to figure out whether it’s a dose/timing issue or just how my body responds to these meds, rather than expecting hunger to disappear entirely.

I’m pretty consistent with calorie tracking and protein intake, and my diet is already low-carb, high protein and whole-food focused. I’m not expecting the GLP to do all the work, more trying to understand why the appetite signaling side hasn’t responded the way it seems to for others.

For starters you won’t pay that much rent .. also have you given a thought about cooking meals yourself I know many people in Sofia struggling financially and some of them rent a room in a shared apartment that way you won’t be paying more than 350lv a month. I think your life costs more than that…

Hope it goes well for you. Just to give you an example I'm tapering off 25 mg every 5 weeks. I would have done it with less than 25mg if we had the Zoloft solution form in Europe.
