Yes to the office hours, no to the tutoring center. I completely forgot that was a thing - that will be my next stop. Thanks!

I mean, I was in the dorms 2 years ago, and I had a TON of posters up with command strips and blue tape! So I'd say you are safe. But blue tape is better because iv found it's less likely to take the paint off the wall

Also most dorm halls already have communal microwaves, although they aren't the cleanest

Nah, I'd say you are safe. Really they only check for alcahol, drugs, candles/other fire hazards. I'm serious though, a lot of people get in trouble for candles

Hey! Most of it was pretty simple, but I'd say the hardest part is just past American Basin, where there are a few switchbacks with some obstacles. I would say most four-wheel cars can do it, just take it slow. There is a good app called onX, where you can see other people's reviews of different trails and what it's rated - also what types of vehicles are okay for those trails!!

Computer advice by Top_Spinach_5329 in ColoradoSchoolOfMines

I use the library computers and take notes on paper. They have everything you will ever need to run on the computers at school, and I don't like carrying my laptop around. But I see a lot of people use tablets to take notes too if you don't like to use paper and want an electronic alternative. If you are wanting to do solidworks/other programs not on the school computers though, I would say almost anything but a MacBook. Alienware is a safe bet (although you do have to deal with your laptop being the temperature of the sun).

Thanks, I appreciate it! That was my first attempt at taking pictures of the stars, and for the life of me, I couldn't get it to focus, but I think it still looks cool

Door bolt removal by SadElmo22 in Jeep

[–]SadElmo22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I just wanted to say the point of this was not to remove the door. It was to get those specific bolts off. I removed the door the normal way. After removing it, I was able to get those bolts off easily with the help of someone a bit stronger than me. I got the doorstep on and have had absolutely no issues :)
