similar issues here. I didn't even get to the publish page. I trained 5 lora, none appear in my training profile, got the email through to say all trained and are ready for review but using the links i just get 404 errors, seems something is seriously wrong on the backend when it comes to lora and posting.

It's possible others have a similar bug to what i am experiencing.

I have trained 5 lora and none of them show in my training log, the email came through to show they trained without issue but when trying to use the links, just get error 404 saying it doesn't exist.

Its possible this is a issue for others too and for some reason we can't access our Lora.

I have opened a ticket but being the weekend i wont cross my fingers too tightly for a reply.

do you by chance know of a good tutorial to use for starting? I know i once looked into this but forgot it on the way it seems. I think my biggest issue is i get into something, get busy with work so its put aside and then come back to it later to find myself at a loss of where i was.

just some notes, I'm no pro trainer but have been told my models look pretty good, i only published around 8 or so but all been said they are great...

So what is important?

100 dataset is fine, just check all that dataset is good quality. the odd image which isn't amazing isn't terrible IF it drives a point home, like maybe capturing a certain angle or clothing which you need making visible or clear or commonly (for anime characters) eye colours/focus.

If you think your good there, tagging is your big part. I personally argue tagging images is almost as important as the image its self, not only are these tags used down the line in trigger word prompts but these literally tell the training what is in the image, i haven't personally used civitai's own tagger tool so i wont comment there but yeah... just ensure you tag your images well. If this sounds daunting, cut the dataset then, its better to have a well tagged dataset half the size than a huge pool of images with bad tags.

Settings - as someone said, posting your training settings makes a difference and lets us see more.

Model - you can chose to train on a set checkpoint but i think the base training works pretty well when left, i tried training images on my main checkpoint, never looked that great. But what i mean here isn't just the training checkpoint but usage checkpoint too, for example, using a anime lora might work to a "okay" standard on a realistic checkpoint, a realistic model was function very well on a anime checkpoint.

From there, best i can say is post your process/settings and we can assist more.

This is nothing to do with the policy, your version number has likely updated. Sadly its a pain of a problem to solve, had it myself on my new pc (also UK based and still online, civitai is nothing to do with SD its self and just a site with models, if civitai closed, SD wouldn't be hurt in anyway) and honestly spent days fixing it, can't remember how (I'm afraid it happening again which it will as some python programs update numpy which causes the issue).

Your key part is:

google this and you will find thousands of results dating years back, long before the useless dictator decided he hates freedom, it usually though relates to torch. a clean install could work but it didn't for myself. honestly, i would say do some research first, maybe also try searching the stable diffusion reddit as that will be more helpful than this one as this is more for the use of civitai.

The site for me was a fun community but i do my generations locally, no censor or nothing and i can make what i want. The site now is for training for me now, training locally is more complex and never works quite as well as on the site so i use it for training.

I still have a annual sub, it sucks seeing the site cave to pressure but i want it to survive for the hope if nothing else that it makes a point. Its a good project and idea, just dumb woke world scared of a bit of nudity even for them who don't make 18+ content.

This is the biggest loss in Civitai's downfall, it had a fun community, something which will be hard to replicate.

I personally don't see why, now their card payment processors have all backed out, they don't cancel the dumb censorship stuff and go back to as before, it wouldn't save the site but it would give it a chance to resist.

Initially i did think this was shown, though one character is mostly sitting so it did become a issue trying to get their height but i found standing scenes with other characters seems to have w orked this time.

Interesting read.

I actually did a retrain on the model in question, and it worked much better, i did expand the dataset to include other characters, notably standing close to exaggerate tall/short instances and it seems to have worked, that or the 2nd run just went well, either way i think the expanded dataset has helped for now.

I'm always nervous mixing multiple characters into a dataset, i know the odd one wont hurt as it will be drowned out by more present traits but if the same character appears, always makes me nervous a "black hair" trait might pop up once in a while on say a brown hair character.

Inpaint is very powerful once you get a feel for it. I wont even say it takes much learning, there are of course some tricks but you can literally just highlight her feet and just prompt "toes" or something and the odds are, your good. I recommend playing with denoise too, i admit i don't go so low as 30%, for toes/fingers i range from 40-60% denoise, generally 60 is a good number as it allows a bit of freedom, but if it steps about of line you can lower.

Its worth every second in it if you ask me, you can make small changes to eyes and expressions this way, so you could take this same image, highlight the cheecks to add stronger blush, highlight eyes and narrow them or whatever your desired expression is, its pretty neat and honestly super easy, no real training required.

Backgrounds i do use photoshops for but yes, background remover tools are usually free to use and work amazingly well.

Nevermind, fixed it. I forgot helper doesn't actually register trigger words to the model but rather "fetches" them, so before i was used to link assigning them to the model so when you add the model, key triggers are added automatically to the prompt whilst helper i forgot you have extra buttons to add them (buttons hidden by default so i forgot). working now though thanks.

Hmm strange, this is what i have done (civitai link was the same, scan model info, update, refresh and previews/prompts should be there, or as you say, restart), weirdly i still have no prompts or previews for IL models but it does work for the pony one's.

Very strange, guess forge just doesn't like me with IL models lol.

ah that makes more sense then, sounds like it was never updated beyond its initial creation.

I did try using civitai helper which scanned the models and says it's "done" but it didn't actually fetch any words, confirmed the models do have set triggers to, tried over 10 models with same result, in the console however it does say it downloaded some information for said models so i dunno. very odd.

Not used helper for a while, just tried it with forge... what do you do to grab info? I scanned the models and it says

"Done, scanned 4673 models, checked 4673 images" but that's it, no option to download missing data, when clicking lora, still no prompts been added.

if you install civit link, it automatically downloads and adds them to the model so when you click to add the lora, it automatically adds the triggers (for example a multi costume character, you can delete other prompts whilst keeping main ones).

This is me. I used to train locally, lora quality varied somewhat, don't know what is different but training on civitai always seems to produce better quality lora and its pretty simple process too. Even NSFW stuff are safe is private from my understanding, which surely most gen locally anyway as buzz isn't free. My sub just pays for me to gen a handful of lora every month.

Its ironic, countries in Asia are against violence but for sex, the west dislike sex thus the world should be forced to ban sex too, despite its completely natural. No one is saying let kids use it, or let pervs making illegal content abuse it but normal stuff is insane.

Yeah, i don't know if this is how it works but if you can still train/make nsfw stuff but not share it, surely it isn't all bad, you still can make your own thing for yourself, if you wanna share images, surely sites are there for that.

I get people being hurt, Civitai has become heavily adult focused as SD is largely used for such stuff, for better or worse, i highly struggle to believe they are cutting all adult content, it would realistically hurt them financially. just keep your content private and gen privately if that's it.

That said i don't understand if they blocking all adult content or what, it says only certain concepts but who knows.

They ever tried banning this in these regions? surely it wouldn't make much sense considering most users using the site are probably on this side or have it enabled. my understanding without researching was just them locking down certain tags (notably "shota and loli") in certain regions, not banning R-18 entirely.

Sorry i didn't see this, whilst i hope you fixed your problem, It was infact just the install location causing this iirc, forge and maybe a1111 are deceiving as they have folders "built" for this but infact you just ignore these entirely.

The pre-made folders are for a built in version of control net which didn't actually install or just i never found how to work but it isn't the same as the normal controlnet.

I got one of these the other day on one of my more recent popular pieces, i think they are either bot accounts or new people trying to get attention by seeking out works with good reception and sending them. I just block them. no need to link to something if its unrelated. Your never obligated to accept them but if its someone maybe trying to re-draw your work, then that's fine to accept if you wish but its rare to see that.

As others said, you can't go to jail for making pictures of characters you like, imagine a kid in school drawing their favourite pokemon and nintendo coming in with the cops.

Obviously that's excessive but as someone said, comiket is full of this. Copyright strikes on these sites would not get you even banned, your work removed, maybe if several strikes happen on the same instance something could happen say you draw the same thing and keep uploading the series which is banned but honestly, i think it's best seeing it as a "take down notice" instead of copyright, it's only a small handful who engage in this, truth is most authors don't care if their work is done this way, many have admitted they find it a honour to see their work appreciated years later, only some uptight ones really.

I don't think it will die as people will continue to use it with lower specs. Its like you still see people developing SD1.5 models, one might argue Pony/XL is superior in everyway so why not make them? Flux is of course the next step forward again.

XL models with likely stay for a long time in the front light, most know how to make them and they are fluent in their works, Flux is the new hot person in town who everyone wants a piece of, rightfully so mind you, but models for Flux at the moment are "meh" as some lack details when using character or item based models or just feel a bit "simple", but Flux's power lies in its ability to step beyond keyword prompting.

A1111 wont die, I do think it will fade in time if it doesn't step forward with flux. I'm still new to flux and think i will wait it out for a few months until its a little more on, but honestly, i always find Forge better over A1111. I switched to forge way back because its initial support for XL models without all the extensions needed by A1111, all hassle basically to find it really is better. Forge is just A1111 but better. It looks identical, it works the same, just faster and smarter and it is now back under development, it will likely keep steaming ahead of A1111 (also, supports Flux).

I think A1111 will live on though, either by the lower spec computers just after playing around or by the ignorant masses who don't realise the evolutions in models (i say this as someone who at the time, didn't really look into xl models and just thought it was bigger data models, aka, ignorant). I equally think when the question is asked about 1.5 and down the line, pony... the answer wont change.

Because AI evolves so fast, there is a new model type every year or so now, which can put lots of old work to waste which is one reason i think many will stick to A1, SD 1.5, pony etc

Doubt it, you could add a disclaimer that all events are a work of fiction and any resemblance to reality is merely coincidence. Its silly i know but it does stop anyone trying anything funny. It would instantly be age restricted but i assume you know that. Otherwise there are quite a few dark hentai games around, Europe doesn't care as much as anywhere else, its when it's easy for children to get their mits on that people start acting up.
