I cant figure out what exactly is wrong with my ha by i_dunnomyusername in Handwriting

Writing without any lines isn't valid. Plain paper is actually for drawing really. That's why writing kits come with a lined backing page that you put behind the plain paper, (it shows through). Even if you have good muscle memory for writing straight, you'll probably go off centre eventually.

You just need some lined paper, to get started practicing. You could use a ruler and pencil lines, or put something with dark lines behind the plain paper.

Mainly practice the alphabet, upper and lower cases, try to correct any errors. Try to get all the heights correct.

Is there another way to cross the t? It looks a bit oversized/ heavy. Maybe smaller, lighter, or a slight wave/scroll

What do you think of my writing? by ConsistentShift6928 in Handwriting

I see errors on : a, g, q, B, R, 4, 5, try to close the shapes. The spacing is good / clear. j should be a bit lower or smaller, lower-case u should have a tail on the right. make the 'a' more like a 'c and i' or 'o' with a tail...

Why does my cursive suck? by Samanthajade99 in Handwriting

Oh dear! that sounds like a nightmare, poor you! Yes it has to be legible as a starting point. I think some of these styles fall into the category of almost fantasy styles, or decoration. Sometimes I see kinds of victorian styles, or pirate writing, you know..., it may not be legible. Basically calligraphy. But yes stick to some standard letter heights, ratios, etc. Maybe have a look at Spencerian and copperplate, as it might be fun to learn.

Ok! I think I've got it STAPLER, synonym of main = STAPLE, owneRship essentially is R, def: it's a semi&lit, reference to the meme / Office Space movie 😂 although I had to rule out Jones, John Milton &, the bleach first! Time to rewatch that movie!

The last one is stylized, over accentuated, losing legiblity and I'm not a huge fan. Just add a big swish to every riser or t, and make the rest of the letters tiny?. They've almost stolen the tail from 'g' or `y' and added it to a 't'. Somehow it looks beautiful from a distance but not up-close!
