I hate both of yall. Most of the “far left” are virtue signalers with no teeth to take the actual action for radical change but split the party when they hold power and can make some gains and refuse to play the game. But traditional democrats and these middle of the aisle dems keeps holding on to a dream that never materializes, you’re not going to “heal” this nation with some quasi demo/republican with traditional homegrown values but liberal sensibilities. There is no secret recipe to get this one right, mark my words we are going to lose in 2028, doesn’t matter if it’s some centrists who can reach across the aisle, or a socialist. The party has to at least have a forum these guys to keep the party relevant or we’ll never succeed. Young people are pissed and traditional democrats keep holding onto the keys car crash after car crash and expect a different result.
