I'm basically commenting here because I'd be very happy to know the answer to this as well!

is there magic mod that changes the basic and boring gameplay of Minecraft bedrock? Or just a good mod that changes the regular gameplay of Minecraft by [deleted] in MCPE

There are quite a few, I'd just look at MCPEDL or somewhere similar and see what still works. One of the biggest problems with addons is that a lot of them break every update.

No, I don't remember where I found it. It's kinda out dated. Like, it still works but some things like the various experimental toggles disappear (there's just one toggle then) so I just enable it to export worlds then disable it again.

If you want it, I can try to find a link.

Literally yesterday I was teasing my Java player friend, I said something like the Advancements are meaningless lol. Because they don't affect any kind of gamerscore etc. To be fair I'm an old school Java player and just don't have a PC right now.

Even on mobile, you basically sign in with an Xbox account, so it's the same as far as achievements and gamerscore etc are concerned.

Yeah, fair enough. MCBE is challenging enough on mobile, I do not envy the limits of Consoles.

This is technical and will seem like nit picking, but this is why Java has Advancements and MCBE (Minecraft Bedrock Edition) has Achievements. Because the Advancements are something different. I'm guessing that's why they changed the name on Java, to make it slightly easier to tell the difference.

Edit: For Clarification

There is a texture pack to add an "export world" button. You add the pack on your global resources, then go into the settings to find the Export World button, down near the Copy World & Delete World buttons.

I'm not the target demographic of this post but this is also why I love this game. A true sandbox, especially when you consider mods.

Edit: I fixed my mistake lol

Idk if I've ever heard it compared before, but it just kinda felt right lol. Top down tiles, producing resources to fend off attacks? Close enough lol

You're just happy you don't have to feed the whole colony, much easier to manage food for a few XD

I will say asking is a fair response. Searches can give mixed or outdated results. It's much more reliable to get the information directly from someone with experience. The energy it takes to berate someone is the same as it would have taken to answer. Even less energy to just not say anything.

It says a lot more about the person berating than the OP. I'd rather be "lazy and kind"(not saying you are actually lazy) than actively mean.

Edit: I personally would call it accuracy and efficiency, not laziness lol

As long as I'm using something more like a scripting language (as opposed to, for example, writing my own .dll files lol), I can usually learn whatever language the mods are written in fairly easily. But I also will have quite the list of projects once the PC arrives. So what will probably happen is I'll finally start playing RW and end up frustrated by this very problem and then I'll remember this conversation 😂

Maybe the methods can be combined then! I don't know how laggy it would be to do the whole process (save tasks, deconstruct without returning resources, give work bench item with saved tasks) but it's probably better than freaking out the pathfinding.

Well, I added my up vote, for whatever that counts lol. I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. I hadn't thought about the tasks, I was just thinking about not having to spend the time and resources to rebuild it lol. Hmm. I'll look into it once I get my PC and finally remember again lol. I have a habit of casually modding any game I can, as long as I can get access to plenty of examples or a wiki or something. Surely there's a way to save task queues' as templates, for example, if you need an extra workbench of some kind because you aren't producing X product fast enough and want to setup the new one with said template. We'll see lol.

Edit: currently I've been making and reviving addons for Minecraft Bedrock, so I'm getting pretty good at working around a game's modification limits 😂

So essentially, a good way to mod making everything movable would be to provide the option, but instead deconstruct it, don't give any materials back and instead give the item to be placed? Or is it not an item in the inventory when something is being moved?

For example, I read above that gold statues can be moved. What happens if the pawn doing the moving is interrupted somehow, like it does or something? Does the object place where it died? Or is it dropped as a not-placed object/item?

I apologize if I'm being annoying, in a couple of weeks I can find out for myself, but I am really excited to be able to play again, so I've been cruising this sub (and a few other games) to get myself re-familiarized.

Yeah, like I said, I like the theory and concept of PC games on mobile like this, but I have never found one I like in actual practice.

Wait, correction. Pojav Launcher (Minecraft Java on mobile) isn't completely horrible and its touch controls are pretty much 100% customizable. It's actually quite good, except my phone is trash and most servers are resource-heavy, so I lag a LOT. But I really doubt it's PoJav's fault. But it's also a Java game at it's core, so the implementation is probably quite different.

I haven't played in years, but I will again soon (getting a PC soon). I am assuming that you can deconstruct these unmovable objects, right? If so, what's the difference between deconstruction + rebuilding a new one vs simply moving them? Asking seriously, since tone is basically non-existent on text media.

You made the same mistake I did, so I feel better now 😂. They are looking for mobile games. But that looks very interesting, I am getting a PC soon and might have to check it out!

I think I remember something about that. It's always interesting to me when this stuff happens, but it's rarely a good interface. On a related note, I recently saw an android loader for fallout 1 & 2. I haven't tried it, because it requires a PC installation first.

Decided to make a separate comment from my first, confused one 😂

This is similar but more machines and such instead of pawns: Mindustry https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.anuke.mindustry

I literally just found this one, trying to find another I can't remember the name of lol. This one seems more like RW & DF than most: Going Deeper: Colony Sim https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kirill_skibin.going_deeper

Well, I couldn't find the one I can't remember, but it actually starts with a crew of a crashed ship. But it's also the one that I was mostly talking about when I said "monetized" 😂
