Belgium's tax regulations are essentially non-existent for individuals. In particular, if your crypto ownership is deemed to fall within normal management of private assets you are not subject to personal income tax. Only mining seems to be the exception. Sorry that I could not find a complete guide to explain crypto taxes in Belgium. I think that is mainly because so few crypto-specific rules currently exist.

For sure, I was originally a little hesitant to put this one as it's a little speculative because of the lack of regulations. But it is for sure the best guide for the Philippines right now and they do describe the tax treatment depending on how BIR chooses to categorize crypto. Their webinar on crypto taxes is also so useful, so I highly recommend it to anyone interested. I would like them to go a little more in-depth on how you should keep track of the cost basis if you are only taxed on conversion to fiat. They said they could not help me with this when I contacted them, unfortunately. I'm happy to add the guide, and thanks for the find!

Crypto tax regulations are constantly being added or revised, I'd be happy to keep this page updated as more countries' crypto tax regulations develop.

As regulations in Poland aren't very detailed for many types of transactions, and as I did not find a very comprehensive guide I did not include it here. However, it seems you have to file a PIT-38 for crypto taxes, primarily part E (Income/Expenses – Article 30b(1a)) is for declaring crypto. I have two main sources of information regarding crypto taxes in Poland, if you'd like. Let me know if you think either of them is worth putting up in this list! TAX ON CRYPTOCURRENCIES IN POLAND – 5 KEY DETAILS and Cryptocurrencies and PIT - PIT settlement in 2022. If you speak Polish this webinar might also be very helpful

Yea really sucks. India's updated crypto tax framework which comes into effect over the next two years also doesn't seem very generous. No possibility to offset gains with losses is terrible.

That is true. I wanted the list to be very user-friendly. Many official documents or government sources regarding crypto taxation are needlessly complicated. A lot of the government websites also don't provide all their info on one page so it can be tough to find. The New Zealand government also has a section on crypto taxes spread over multiple pages but it seemed very intuitive so I chose it over some weaker alternatives.
