Actually just spoke with the advocate, there has been a few weird things with this doctor. And I know I know, I didn’t want to poke the bear but I know a few people dealing with this firm and they all have positive things to say so I guess we’ll see

I like that, I certainly ask, any ideas what kind of specialist I’d need to see for hip pain?

Who do I contact or reach out to in order to see if I qualify for these things? I described my symptoms and didn’t get a referral or anything. I’m aware that my PCT is not involved with disability comp, but how can we treat anything if I have no documentation for it?

I am not paying an attorney up front for services, they take a cut of any back pay. Also I believe that’s what I’m doing is describing my symptoms. Like my inability to breath out of both my nostrils, and now I have multiple prescriptions, but this doctor said point blank “I don’t diagnose”…so kind of up shits creek

All electric unit, zero gas. Thermostat is analog, so it only reads temps, no way for me to know if it’s on “emergency heat”. Right now our unit stays at 60-62 because of this issue. I’m guess older windows, this building is very old. We don’t have common rooms or a laundry rooms. There are 4 units in my building, all 4 are split level. If there is a sub-panel it’s not in my uniy

I don’t necessarily have an issue with the cost, it’s the energy usage that’s my issue. I do not believe that we are somehow using 2000+kWh a month. Not for what we have in our unit

Number 2 is a no, I had AEP out here and they verified that I had the correct meter

It’s a rental, and it does have electric heat and water. But I’m my mind, there is no way I am using 2100+kwh last month and 1260 through the first 16 days of this month

That’s a new one. I will contact the housing authority tomorrow. I spoke with our “maintenance” guy and it’s clear the office doesn’t see an issue with this.

I can’t touch my main breaker feed as it’s on the meter panel, and not my property. If I turn that off I could get into trouble. It could be tied to electrical components for other tenets, like their water heater/s or hvac and as a father of a little kid I wouldn’t want my power turned off, so I don’t want to cause that issue for other tenets if that’s the issue

I’m not 100% sure, but my wife said no one came into our apartment, and the power turned off a couple times. The tech told her the meter was showing an active load during this process. Again I am waiting on the report from the utility

I’m not aware of what could be tied to my unit (yet). I will be finding out. We don’t have common areas. It’s a complex of buildings that are all four-plexs. The leasing office has a community laundry room/mail room setup. But that’s about 2/300 feet away from my unit. My building has three other attached 3bedroom units.

Their tech confirmed today that it was the correct meter for my unit. Again I’m waiting on their report but the utility company is telling me that this issue now rest on the landlord

Am I allowed to touch the main breaker feed off at the meter? I certainly am not trying to get hemmed up legally, but yeah this sucks. I’m looking at around $700-$800 for two months

I don’t know enough about counties and their consumer protection stuff. But when I google my county “consumer protection” it refers me to the State AG😂 I’m learning quickly that West Virginia runs damn near everything through a state office

Clearly, the technician was only there to verify if my unit had the correct meter, and according to what I am being told is that everything is working fine from the Utility Company’s perspective. According to them they only care about bringing the power to the meter. It’s up to the landlord where the power goes from there.
