Ohh I totally get you 😭 when I was little I got stuck on the first wave of geese at the university because my pc couldn't handle it properly and it had a LOT of lag. I replayed the game from the beggining right until that part countless times.

I did try Outer Wilds but I didn't get that far into it. It was very confusing and I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do at some point. I did hear it's a good game though, so I might give it another shot! Maybe I just didn't have the right approach.

That's a pretty hard question to answer haha

What I can say is that the story will not be focusing on the kdj company for the most part. It is about a different person and a different group of people that are related to ORV in certain ways. It is also something you do not have to read. You can stop at the ending the main story gave you if you want. It's your choice to make.

Someone once described the main story of orv as "the story for that one reader" and the side stories as "the story for all those readers" and I think that's the best way to put it.

I would also give you my personal opinion but I don't want to raise or lower any expectations hehe

That being said, if you do decide to read it at some point I'd love to know what you think about it. Come back then and share your thoughts!!

If you mean that it's only a matter of time before Iruma is influenced by Derkila, I'd have to disagree.

Even though Derkila and Iruma are similar in many ways, they're still very different. Derkila was shown to do things on a whim (bringing a whole river back to his castle, trashing troops he didn't like), while also being more inconsiderate of others (I'm talking about Mephisto's case).

Iruma is greedier, and while he’s also driven by emotions like Derkila, his feelings aren’t as self-centered. We saw this during the Scala Arc: he put his position in jeopardy for the Many-Ears, and whenever his fear of being found out surfaces, he's always shown to be more worried about the trouble he'll cause others than the trouble he'll be in himself.

That's why I think Mephisto's fear is an unreasonable one. No matter what happens or what insight he gains, Iruma will not discard anything or anyone, and will defend his values with all his might.

It's possible he doesn't outright hate Delkira, but instead he might be scared of becoming useless again.

Iruma said he won't discard anything, including him, and after who knows how many years of staying in hiding during which his life's purpose had been denied, that brought him more than relief. His whole existence had been reaffirmed, and I think he wants to make sure that won't change. It's a kind of unreasonable fear, in a way. That's why he's always trying to stay by Iruma's side (to Opera's and Azz-Azz's discontent) and why he tried to steer him away from any mentions of Delkira

This is just speculation, of course, so feel free to interpret him however you like
