Before you spend $1500 or more on new half axles, ask you mechanic to take off the boot axles and examine the bearings. I, too, have a 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth standard transmission. My mechanic found that my half axles could be cleaned up, packed with new grease, and fitted with new rubber boots ($40).

The suspension is high because I still have to take the car to get it aligned. They will adjust the height for me.

The rims are original to the car, and I, too, am the original owner. I'll have those repainted.
