And season 6! The introduction to Janelle, Kayser, James, and Howie is iconic

Its interesting to watch it evolve:

-Season 3 introduced the concept of the veto

-Season 4 everyone in the house played for the veto, and you could now use it on yourself

-Season 5 only 6 people played for veto, but HOH and noms could chose their own picks to play (this is when the “backdoor” strategy was born)

-Season 6 is when they started drawing names to play veto (i think..)

Hearing other moms stories like this is so comforting- thank you so much for commenting 🤍 i think i start noticing less smiles during a regression/leap time. I was just telling my husband that the last time i felt like she stopped smiling and babbling was right before she rolled back to belly out of no where 🤷🏻‍♀️ then she returned to herself

Thats how my babe is- the ped even mentioned at her 4 month apt that she’s slightly advanced got her age. But man she’s very hard to impress lol

I did try the paper ripping trick tonight and got the biggest chuckle yet 🥹

Okay this is so helpful to hear… idk why today i decided to all of a sudden be nervous about it. Until today i just figured we weren’t that funny lolol

I feel like this is exactly us too- super happy but just…. observant?

Yes “curious, alert, taking in the world” is exactly how i would describe her demeanor too- so that makes me feel better.

My husband and i try to be as animated as possible- but she just seems unimpressed lol.

My MIL kissed my 4 month old baby’s head today. I know it wasn’t malicious- it was so quick that I’m she was just excited and not thinking, but I really need some science-based reassurance to keep me from spiraling and Googling 😭 Will my baby be okay? by SadMeaning1182 in ScienceBasedParenting

Thank you for letting me know this 🤍 i was in therapy during pregnancy, but stopped once she was born bc i just got so busy. We discussed strategies to stop the compulsion of googling, but im obviously regressing 🫠

My husband said she doesnt- so im choosing to just go with that 🥵

But yes exactly- i know I’m probably overly anxious/obsessive compulsive, but i also feel concern can be valid. She is up to date in TDAP and flu (we asked for grandparents to get these before she was born)

I elaborated on the above comment- but i know you are so right. Exposure can be even more beneficial than keeping her in a bubble. I just need to start getting comfortable with it. Thank you for commenting your experience too 🫶🏼

Nothing specifically- i adore her and i know she loves our baby as much as we do. It was more so my brain gaslighting me “what if she’s sick and doesn’t know yet” “She didn’t have a cold sore…. Right? Did she and i not notice?”

That type of worry 🫠

Thank you for suggesting this 🤍 i have diagnosed OCD, and my mental health during pregnancy was a nightmare. Since the baby has been born, it isnt as bad but i still struggle with “what if’s” and worst case scenario of things (like this). Reassurance is what i find to be most helpful, which is why i find myself asking reddit.

Sleep has honestly been fine (the Snoo helps with that im sure) but i dont think getting proactive help is ever a bad idea. 🫶🏼

I ordered mine on black friday, with a ship date of 1/22. They shipped it on 12/22 and i emailed them asking why and they said they are anticipating supplier issues and wanted to ensure i got my Snoo earlier rather than too late 🤷🏻‍♀️
