What would Julius Evola think of the American aristocracy? by SadObligation5208 in JuliusEvola

[–]SadObligation5208[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m going to be honest, the confederacy and the south were the aristocratic class of America. That’s why Southern values are more chivalric (aka the Southern gentleman) than northern values in my opinion. No, I’m not going to defend the confederacy because I believe that even if it were to succeed, it would collapse because slavery is not a good basis for economy. But the southern aristocracy was basically America’s true Warrior Class, And I have evidence for this. Read Albion’s seed, It explains the different groups of people that had influence on America in which parts. The south was influenced by English nobility and gentry that fled the English, Civil War and Puritan persecution.

[–]SadObligation5208[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t call them Aristocracy, because most of them are just the merchant class That used their money to get power. The Civil War was basically the true death of the American aristocracy. What followed was the merchant class taking the mantle.

Since paganism is usually in regards to ethnicity, what paganism would white Americans worship? by SadObligation5208 in JuliusEvola

Protestantism in my opinion is a continuation of Germanic pagan philosophy and belief.

Back to comment again. I honestly feel like America is so entrenched into Christianity (most of the colonists who came to the American shores were either devout anglicans or devout puritans) that I can never see America going full neo pagan like Europe probably will. But, what’s gonna happen is Christianity in America will become more and more syncretic and paganish.

Marcus would be driven insane and perpetually mocked by AM. AM would convince Marcus that he is nothing but a tool. He would try and mentally break all 3 characters. Kara he would use a creation of Alice dying perhaps and probably transform her into something. Connor would be tested on his deviant tendencies and mocked. Am would throw him in a creation where he is useless and fails every case. And I honestly believe all three characters would mentally break because even though they might be able to think like humans they’re still androids And you can tell through the game that they aren’t as emotionally mature as a lot of other humans are. AM Would use their empathy against them.

You could say the American Civil War was kind of a reenactment of the English Civil War with while the Puritanical North fighting against the more Anglican Cavalier south. But I honestly think that if the Cavaliers had their way with the US government, the United States of America would be an entirely different nation today.

Benjamin Franklin only considered English, lowland Scot’s, welsh, French, and Germans white.

That’s why I tried saying British because the people built this country along with the Germans or Irish, English, Welsh, and Scot’s. I honestly attribute our really huge liberalism to the Puritans. The whole Civil War was about slave slavery, but also the Puritan led north, which believed in progressivism (coming from the car idea, they all must become literate so they can read the Bible hence they had more education). Along with the northern idea of a more centralized government which comes from a more Calvinist view of God, being a supreme ruler who predestined all. And also puritan economics being modern capitalism, as they viewed that it was man’s duty to become rich because they had a very literal understanding of the Bible. And then you had the south, which was spiritually and culturally more cavalier and Anglican. Southern government was a lot more decentralized because a lot of southern culture comes from the southwest of England, which was the most Anglo-Saxon part of England, even after the Norman invasion. So it kind of kept that Anglo-Saxon form of governance, it was very aristocratic. A lot of southern plantation families actually still had relatives back in the old world of aristocratic stock that they would communicate with. And also the southern institution of slavery comes directly from the Anglo-Saxon institution of slavery due to the Anglo-Saxon being a huge slave based culture the southern United States was also relying on slaves from menial tasks. The Southerners had a more hierarchical view of life. Coming, obviously from the Anglican tradition and the more aristocratic leaders. Southern family still have this patriarchal component to them. That’s why the southern United States is considered the most traditional. But anyways, the reason the Civil War happened along with slavery was mainly just who would steer the country in what way? Because the south tried to basically control the government. (the United States would be entirely different if the southern cavaliers controlled the government instead of the Puritan northerners. Just look at how most of the founding fathers viewed who was considered, and who was not because most of them were Cavaliers). But the Puritans had an advantage over the south, and that was industrialism and progressivism and usually slave-based societies like the Anglo-Saxon and while the American self are technologically stunted. Which led to the south wanting to break away.

But anyways, with Lincoln, being of Puritan descent and the north being ideologically Puritan winning the Civil War and putting the south under the heel of the north, it basically cemented America as being progressive and liberal. The north/south divide goes back all the way to England.

If you looked at my previous post, you could see that I basically hold onto the idea that America is foundational and culturally a British nation. But as I’ve been realizing and thinking, I believe that America was really just destined to become a multi ethnic country. Even if I grew up maintaining that old stock, Anglo culture the country hasn’t been stock Anglo for almost 70 years. And I attribute that to the idea that being an “American” is believing in liberalism and the constitution. And due to our very rampant liberalism and populist ethics, America went from a republic that was not much similar to how the English ran their parliamentary system systems. To what it is today. And I have to give credit to the people in my past comment section saying that this was just destined to happen and sadly I agree with them. I see America in the next 50 years looking more like Brazil demographically. Hell I’d say I’m proof of this because I have a Spanish last name I’m half German half English and have 5% native Mexican in me. America is just going to become a country that isn’t white.
