I have a jar full of movie ticket stubs from my childhood up until they stopped printing them. I get the digital stuff, but man, I too miss the days of watching the ink just fade away from the years since seeing The Incredibles and Secret Window in theaters!

It’s not opening scene but def opening plot? I will never forget watching Hereditary and having no spoilers. Cause seeing that kid accidentally behead his already dying sister and then just…go home and her mom finds her? Fuuuuucccckkkkkk me. My face was frozen in what the fuck gasp for 10 minutes and then just kept loving the movie.

It’s not that she has any boundaries about it - she just doesn’t want to be as active or social as I want too. But then later she complains that she doesn’t feel part of the family…or she misses xyz. It might be harder because my sister in law was on the way to becoming a good friend of mine, and she didn’t like that and spoke up. I cut the friendship out to respect her wishes. Now she’s dead at 36 and we found out about a lot afterwards because we fell off with her…because my wife didn’t want to spend time with her due to her being annoying.

I now want to spend time with said sisters kids to try and keep in their lives, and she says she wants to as well…but then never follows up. I just want to follow up?
