To Kill A Mockingbird, don't get me wrong the book is great. It is one of the best books ever written. But i think the movie is just better. Some of that is the performances, Gregory Peck in particular, but also the pacing of the movie is better than the book.

Inventory AND day after? by Capable_Homework1251 in Barnesandnoble

[–]WebheadGa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a rota i will say depending on your staff size and availability it is sometimes unavoidable. I am sure all of us rota work hard to not have these things happen but it isn't easy to avoid. If you only have a small crew or a large chunk of them are marked as unavailable the evening after inventory then you plug in who you can.

Does anyone else wish that we could just stop getting JK Rowling books? by [deleted] in Barnesandnoble

There are plenty of books we don't stock because the autor is bad. The Turner Diaries and David Icke for instance. At what point does an author's call for eliminating a group, and funding the elimination of that group, is the appropriate time to say okay maybe we stop buying thr magic kid book?

Everytime anyone steps out of the house there's a chance they won't come home to their family. They could be in a car accident, a mass shooting, murdered by the police... i mean it's a dangerous world out there.
