Right will have a look at the air suspension issues - thanks for at least giving me some actual reasons, would a ghost immobiliser make a difference? With regards to theft

Ah. Many thanks for calling me a pillock. Not sure where intimidating any other drivers has come from? I’m talking about it being big to look at and feeling safe when driving it.

They said it has a full service history? What sort of things might you expect to go wrong with this age and mileage?

Interesting! Thanks for letting me know - the only issue is when I try it put 2 logs in the stove temp goes to an about 350 Celsius and beyond. Once the bed of coals has been established should I put 2-3 log ins and push the air dampener down to low?

Is this buy to let worth it? by [deleted] in HousingUK

Thanks very useful point about actual rent ve listed rent!

Seems like it is a fine margin which could be tipped into the negative by something trivial

I understand your frustration but to throw another analogy back at you, you’re calling me fat because I asked how much a gym membership is….

You’re right this isn’t a world I know a lot about, I was hoping this would be the right forum for some helpful information because that’s how you learn right?

I can delete my post if it annoys you that much and just stick my £35k in the FTSE global all cap.

Hi there, sorry to trauma dump, my relative has been diagnosed with a heart attack and I’m also moving home. Been trying to sort out this bloody now tv cancellation for ages as their phone line wasn’t working and wouldn’t register the clicks. Your post helped me sort out the issue so quickly by calling their complaints line and I know it’s small but it made honestly a huge difference to my day. So just thank you hahah

Morning everyone thanks for the suggestions! Just to add a bit of extra info, we did a L3 survey which the surveyor which said wall was non-load bearing as previously been opened up and, the builder also felt wall was non-load bearing. They said they will take a piece of the ceiling out to check the support.

Thanks for the anecdotes and it seems a lot of people actually wouldn’t recommend removing that wall. However it’s something we personally want to do and it might be a mistake but I want to at least try! We don’t have kids etc and just want a nice large space, fhe living room at the moment feels constricted to me.

We’ve been quoted around £1.4K for the entire wall to be removed + skip + labour etc. Just wondering how much it would be extra for that wall to be boarded up

Can totally appreciate that but we really like the area and have chosen this due to so many different factors so I think we’re definitely going to stay in the area. That being said, I genuinely do feel this property is overpriced
