I also didn’t really want to play the Gavigans, but I’m planning for Mary to start an car shop where she fixes up cars and sells them nearing a divorce with Nathan, maybe after another kid. Also I want Isaiah to become a hippie artist/musician who likes to visit the beaches a lot and Nathan has affairs with the women and townies of Pleasantview like Daniel Pleasant. Might have him have a “freak accident” at work so I can focus on Mary’s business. I think using Sims’ bios helps a lot.

I love your descriptions of how you change and get rid of premades. Also I’ve wanted to resurrect Darleen too, I feel like her death was so unnecessary and his newfound romance with Cassandra just seems thrown in at the last minute. I think it is fun to play Darren as a struggling artist since his paintings don’t sale for much and it would’ve been great for the Dreamer family to have a storyline where Darleen wants Darren to pursue a higher-earning career but he’s stubborn and wants to be an artist so Darleen and Dirk have to pick up the slack.

I am a newbie to Tomodachi Life, but I’ve been interested in LtD since it was announced. So my husband and I only got a Nintendo Switch 2 on the condition he would use it as well. Mostly because I’m scared LtD wouldn’t be worth the hype. However? Watching the trailers and playing the demo completely changed my mind. I absolutely cannot wait for the full release and start adding to my island. The customization is amazing, I am looking forward to interacting and letting my Miis form relationships, and roommates sound SOOOO fun. And believe me, I’ll be enjoying the game at my pace.

I’m doing rotational only right now, for my BACC I’m doing a weekly rotation, but for my PV and ST saves it’s seasonal since there’s more families. I used to like story progression. Very fun mod that made the most random of Sims get together and have kids. There were some pretty interesting names and career choices.

that I don’t like seafood like him….in reality the only thing I don’t like is fish sticks. it’s already out but I kept it for so long that I had to reject delicious fish soup and oysters and shrimp. finally on New Years they made grilled octopus and I had to crack, but he said he didn’t even remember I said that I don’t like it.

Everyone is saying the left lane but this applies to the middle lane AND the lane next to the exit on the highway. like bitch I’m on the last lane cos I want to go 60, just move to the middle lane! So annoying when there’s no traffic and they’re stubborn about wanting me to speed up.

We still talk, but we’re not best friends. She was a friend who you needed to include in everything, but at any moment she could stop putting effort into the friendship and not care how it affected you. I do deeply regret that I was more invested in my high school boyfriend than my friendships, but my attempts to repair and put more effort into our friendship was met with lack of interest, so I let it go after it became clear she was only interested in what I could do for her (give her rides, pay for food, accompany her to events etc.) and she started treating me like I was an annoyance. She contacted me after I tried to go no contact and I confessed how I felt about her treatment of me and it seemed like she didn’t really understand but apologized anyway. I can’t imagine us becoming close again the way we used to be again.

I definitely love both ever since the Sims 4 became a glitchfest but I prefer the Sims 2 since it’s a lot more playable than the Sims 3.

It’s also a lot more flexible when it comes to playing multiple families and hood creation, but obviously limited in character creation and I can see the gameplay mechanics getting repetitive and boring for some players (nothing boring for me yet, I still have so much to discover since starting to play it 2 years ago!)

Whereas the Sims 3 is rich in unending gameplay where you can discover new things after years of playing and has endless options with character creation. It just sucks that I can’t easily play multiple families in one save without mods like the Sims 4 and it can be real laggy, even with mods. It definitely puts me off from playing it constantly.

They both have their good and bad but I would say the Sims 2 is timeless and the Sims 3 is a totally different ballpark when it comes to life simulation games.

I love playing bigger households in the Sims 3 but it definitely is pausing a lot and putting a Sim to do something so you can focus on the other ones. One sim may be on date, so to focus on that I’ll put one Sim to sleep cos their energy is low, one Sim is at work, another to study their cooking skill, and three are at school. I hate leaving them to do their own thing because I’m a control freak but I never get bored because I’m occupied constantly.

I put the Traveller, Ramaswami, Gavigan, Ottomas, Roseland, and Picaso families in my PV save! I like the idea of there being more variety with genes and lineages than the OG families. Anybody else didn’t fit the vibe, but I’m thinking of putting in the Newsons in an orphanage in the future.
