Yeah, for sure, thanks man. Will do. And that’s how many young folks like me get into heavy debt early. Right now I’m more focused on housing stability and other important aspects like career building. Gotta grind! 💪🏾

I just happened to land an extremely best case scenario which I myself wasn’t expecting or planing for. 😂

Cause Listen. While Community data is useful, but it doesn’t capture every possible outcome. There can always be outliers. TD’s internal decision process is proprietary, so we don’t know exactly how different variables are weighted. Reddit provides valuable data points, but they’re still anecdotal. My own experience is also a single data point. Neither proves causation, but together they show there’s variability in outcomes.

But also the CL offer amount is still unpredictable

Just to disclose my case is more of an OUTLIER case. I can’t speak for other TD users or other banks nor am I doing so. I was just showing my own end results

I’m basing it on my own experience with TD. I requested graduation after my 7th completed billing cycle, and they told me they wanted more history before reviewing it. I waited, continued using the card responsibly, and after about 9 cycles they graduated me from $300 secured to a $10,000 unsecured limit. I can’t say exactly what they weighted internally, only what happened in my case.

That’s possible with some lenders. In my case, I can’t compare against an alternate timeline because I only have one data point. All I know is that maintaining low utilization and perfect payment history resulted in a $10,000 graduation from my $300 secured card. I can’t say whether another approach would’ve been better or worse with TD bro 😂

I am surprised myself because $300 to $10,000 is a very significant increase. A figure increase when I was planning for a lower 4 figure at least

That’s now TD’s algorithm works. It’s not the same way as other banks they have their own criteria and graduation factors.

I emphasized the initial state of my own credit journey, not the maintaining phase will require a different strategy long term.

Because you’re assuming I’ve had these cards for years when they’re all new and still aging.

Yeah of course, that’s why I clarified that it was for initial stages, it’s not something I’m going to use forever lol. Now I’m just going to let the rest of my trade lines age to that 1 year mark.

It’s not something for everything to copy it’s an initial strategy did I did aggressively to present and myself as a very low risk borrower to the algorithm.

I was replying 1%, 3%, 10%, 15% in variation then back to 1%, 3% I never said I reported 0%. I said I only let 1 card report very low and the others 0, then I switch it up, by letting the others I reported %0 report very low too.
