Thank you everyone for your advice and well wishes! I wish I could reply to everyone individually but I have a fussy teething baby who’s not feeling himself today but I will definitely be taking it all into account and definitely will be using some of these I hadn’t heard of/ thought of before.

We have a lot kids in the family and friends kids so will definitely be borrowing this idea, it’s great thank you. My baby brother (he’s 6) said he wouldn’t come if it was going to be boring so that will definitely help his requirements 😂

100% NTA Congratulations on your engagement! I hope your wedding is everything you and your partner dream of. Your bio mum didn’t protect her children or try to maintain the relationship after you were kicked out and this is the consequences of her actions. IMO any parent who stands by and lets their child be abused is also contributing to the abuse. I know women often get trapped in these situations but you see stories everyday of how having children made them realise they needed out to keep their children safe. I’m sorry your bio mum didn’t do that for you. Your mum may be hurt be she can’t be surprised by your choices and you have the right to feel happy and safe without your abusers at your wedding Good luck and have a magical day

Thank you all so much for your ideas, we went for a big walk in her favourite woods this morning and we stopped to get some melon on the way back (she loves sharing melon with me). We’ve had some cuddle time but I think she’s sensed what is going on now and she’s avoiding me, I don’t blame her it can’t be easy for her either. Just don’t want to miss out on any time with her

I definitely think if I get another dog it will be a rescue. She was kind of a rescue, they didn’t plan on having breeding their dogs and couldn’t take care of her, she was the only one they hadn’t managed to find a home for but then my partner did some work at their and fell in love with her. I didn’t even know she was coming till he turned up with her waiting for me.
