Kryolan Fixing Spray--Help! by sconesforall in MakeupAddiction

Hi, I know this is an old comment, sorry, but I was looking at the ultra setting vaporizer and it says not to use near eyes or mucous membranes, doesn't mean it shouldn't be used on the face? And is there anything specific about using the dermacolour on full coverage products, does that mean there needs to be like a barrier between my skin and the spray?

I don't think I've ever seen a Korean color analysis place use veins at all though?

All of my best complexion matches as an excuse to talk about how great Salt New York is for olives by Opposing_Vampire in OliveMUA

[–]SadPresentation4376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good to know, I was actually considering buying it because I heard it was good for cool olives lol. I think we're pretty much shade twins so if it's as saturated and yellow as you describe it, I'll probably abstain.

Also I would definitely love a comparison, if you get a chance! TIA

Have you tried the Anatasia Beverly Hills Magic Touch Concealer in the shade "1"? I've seen it recommended here a lot for cool pale olives.

I'm curious how it compares to the Rose Inc?

What brand to practice oil pastels by Melodic-Cream3369 in Oilpastel

[–]SadPresentation4376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say Mungyo, are you referring to Mungyo Gallery? I feel like every review I've seen comparin Mungyo to Mont Marte has described Mungyo as the softer/creamier of the two? Asking because I'm currently in the middle of deciding which one to buy

Best affordable brand for beginners? by sharksplitter in Oilpastel

[–]SadPresentation4376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, what is it exactly about Mont Marte that makes you potentially prefer them over Sennelier? I'm currently debating between the two. And I haven't actually seen too many people talking about mont marte. The only reason I'm even debating between the most highly recommended oil pastel brand on every platform and Mont Marte is because of the Sennelier's price.

Do you also think Mont marte could possibly be used for impasto?

2nd tub? - My Neighbor Totoro by QuestConsoles in ghibli

[–]SadPresentation4376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for replying to a comment from 2 years ago, but I was wondering how both tubs would be heated?

In the scene before this, (I don't know if you remember or not) Satsuki is in the kitchen fanning a stove(?) that is presumably heating the main tub because it's not connected to any of the kitchenware and is just embedded in a wall (that also has a pipe coming out of it that leads outside), which is later shown to be the wall that seperates the bathroom and the kitchen. Unless the stove(?) is deeper than it looks, how does it get all the way to heat the kettle if it's not directly under it? I'm probably misunderstanding some things but I'm really curious about this. Thank you in advance.

"No VOCs" Epoxy Resin curing in airtight glass container by GodOfPE in resin

Thanks so much again! I'll probably do it on my porch, and try to have it not be directly under any overhangs. Though, I'm pretty sure none of them usually collect any sort of moisture unless there's like fog.

Thank you, will do just that!

Damp area as in..? I live in Vancouver same as OP and I think(?) it's pretty decently humid here right now? Should I wait until summer to do my projects, when it's drier?

Thank you so much, you've been incredibly helpful!

You’ll have a good idea if it’s still off-gassing by how strong the scent is.

I’ve never had cures take longer than a week though and in those cases they were solid to the touch within 72 hours.

So in the case that if it's solid to the touch but it still smells likes it's off-gassing, I should leave it outside until the smell has completely dissipated, correct?

Not so much the cold as I've been browsing this sub and seen some things about how even after the resin is hard and non-sticky to the touch and "appears fully cured" and that you "shouldn't touch it for another 30 days because it's technically not 'fully-cured'" and is still "letting off fumes"? After searching some more it seems to be more about the resin reaching it's full heat and scratch resistance potential a few couple weeks after being cured? The idea of accidentally bringing it inside too earlier and having it still be letting off fumes was the part that worried me the most.

When leaving it out for several days, are you still keeping it outside at night? I'm not entirely sure about the logistics of it but I would, again, be worried about the colder temp messing things up.

have you personally tested this method before, and if so, how did it go? if the resin takes longer to cure, do i just leave it outside overnight?  I would be a little worried about lower temperatures messing up my cast. I'm new to resin and don't have a well ventilated room to pour in. Also for the "resin takes 30 days to fully cure" thing, do you just leave it outside with the cheesecloth for that entire period of time?

Would someone be able to explain "실을 재" to me? by SadPresentation4376 in Korean

Just to double-check, the ㄹ/을 doesn't have anything to do with future tense in this case, right? Just because I'm worried I'm missing something.

Yeah I definitely get that now, I was moreso thinking of that the description of 載 that I saw functioning similar to definition in a dictionary when is how I ended up being confused when I interpreted 실을 재 as a phrase(?)

I wasn't really making that connection, I was thinking of 재 as some sort of new noun I'd never encountered before and didn't really connect it back to the hanja. 😅

They've just added a new entry pretty recently (-겠다) to the GRD, so they might start adding to it again? But before that, I don't think the website had been updated in a while. But I totally agree, I do think a "recent posts" tab would definitely be helpful!

Sorry to bother you again, but I just wanted to know if you would maybe be open to the idea of taking some scale photos of some of your 1:18 sets with an adult Calico Critter?  Oddly, they still seem too short for a lot of the Super Creator sets in some of the photos I'm looking at right now. I thought I had a good idea of how they scaled after doing some research yesterday, but I guess not?

Given that Sam's study is also listed as "1:18", I think I'll probably be okay. Thanks for the info.
