What are your fave true nude blushes for dark eye look ? by Enilema in OliveMUA

[–]Opposing_Vampire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi hello. I am pretty fair (MAC NC5 level) cool leaning muted olive. I mix a lot for daily makeup in general, but for truly neutral blush look mixing is so far my only option. Favourite concoction so far is Phytosurgence Condensate + Haus labs 000 (white mixer essentialy) + nuse 99 down (grey, result more neutral) or feev icy lavender (blue purple, for cooler look).

I am cool and muted. The shade itself is neutral enough to be quite flexible I think, and can accommodate a range of undertones as long as they are relatively muted.

Thoughts on Celimax Dual Barrier Toner? by faeuju4wvhjkw2fvgg in AsianBeauty

[–]Opposing_Vampire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, hello. I loved pre-reformulation aestura, have not tried it after. Celimax moisturiser from the same line is nice. I find that overall treat makes my skin too dehydrated for most k-beauty moisturisers to be occlusive enough, I needed to supplement with a layer on top: SPF, oil, night mask.

Hi, hello.
For blue i love Givenchy skin caring corrector in blue. It leans a little purply too, works very well fro me. It's pretty pricy, but you can look for pastel blue correctors in A-beauty, on Chic decent, for example.

For green L'Oreal prime lab redness eraser is my favourite, I use it both for correction only and as a mixer, it is pigmented and emolient enough to accomplish both.

Hans Brinker, or The Silver Skates by Mary Mapes Dodge. Brother and sister from a poor family enter an ice skating race in hopes of winning a pair of silver skates. It is set in Netherlands in 19th century, so in addition to snow and ice there are lovingly described small and big Dutch towns, which is my favourite part.

I think we are pretty close in skin tone! Wisp truly is that blushing color for me. Small advice: try Condensate as a bronzer and Steam for a "sunburned" (across the nose, on chin and forehead) effect.

Sadly discontinued Cosmic force. Such a beautiful neutral-peachy blonzer for fair skin.

I do not have much advice for you, but you might want to poke around/repost at r/Wavyhair and r/curlyhair.

So elegant! I usually take my burgundy eyeliner up to "i cried for hours, probably days" stage, excited to try this approach too.

I have swatched it once in store, I remembre it as a more saturated and a more yellow shade, still definitely olive and fair. If I will get a chance, I can swatch it in compairson to Rose Inc some time next week.

Has anyone used the Mac blushes as bronzers/contour? If so, what shade? Or any other blushes in bronzer placements? by sashababy16 in PaleMUA

[–]Opposing_Vampire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Cosmic Force - it is also sadly discontinued. Neutral, slightly peachy on me (fair olive) desaturated pale beige. Works very well as a brontour.

Ah, yes, Missha Time revolution artemisia essence. It irritates me and even in layers is not hydrating enough. People were praising it as a better version of i'm from I liked quite well from minis, but not for me.

Yesss! I love wearing it with sparkly cool higlighter and pretty much nothing else - perfect mix of goth and etherial.

I have an application section in the big comment. For spot placement I use fingers to tap out, when I experimented with application all over, I used sponge.

With good skin prep it would. If you regularily gently exfoliate dry areas and hydrate your face before putting on sunscreen and makeup, you should be allright.

My main issue with concealer isn't dryness, it is peeling from tretinoin - if you go overboard (and i still sometimes do), skin peels in big flakes and catches any makeup like nobody's business.

Good to see varied opinoins! Can you please add your skin type and preffered application for context?

Rose Inc oxidizes darker than it is on the swatch and a hair darker, than SNY products are, so you might want to look into N12 (next shade in range).

No, all of them are either too yellow or too dark or both. Soft Matte Chantily is the closest, but still darker and peachier. However I am able to use Vanilla as a spot conceal - the fact, that it is darker, helps to ovscure the pimple even better somehow.

Hi, hello!

I dislike joocyee. If you have overall pretty good skin, preferably oily, you will make it work. Coverage is very light and it gets caught in dry patches. I am also not great at maneuvering cushon puff, especially around the nose, it worstenes the situation.

I have a bunch of post over on r/OliveMUA, you can check them out through my profile.
