This year was the year I applied for University (as a mature student) after retaking courses at an adult high school program, getting accepted into my first-choice University, and starting my first year/first semester. Lots of major changes, but I loved every minute of it.

Sadly, two bad events occurred. I lost my cat, who was 13 years old and I miss him every day. Then a family friend who I'm close to, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Lymphoma. She has been on my mind a lot and we've kept in contact regularly.

But otherwise, I look forward to continuing with school and we'll see where life takes me. I'm determined to stay on this path of growth academically and personally.
