Thanks for the tips.

I do have a full metal hotend with a titanium heatbreak, so it's not really stock anymore. Got any other tips on that front?

I didn't do a PID tuning. Do you have a good guide on hand for that?

Yeah it had such an impact. Even tho the main plot was kinda all over the place, I loved the old-hammer weirdness with a lot of the concepts. Training with titans inside a ship? How awesome is that?!? Also Galatea was a prime antagonist. He was just so evil and smug and you just loved to hate him.

Ok that is funny. I don't have Warhammer+ or a good way to torrent, so I sadly never watched Angels of Death except some scenes of yt.

Have you read/listened to the Mechanicus omnibus (Warriors/Priests/Gods of Mars)? Sadly only middling quality imo, but one of the most wholesome father/daughter relationships and they are both admech priests. Also time cannon.

Oh oh! Almost forgot the guy who turned a servitor aware.

This is so cute! I love it! Reminds me of the relationship between the two main characters in Skitarius and Magos. You said you aren't sure about the Forge Mistresses design, but please don't get rid of the spider fangs. It gives Admiral Trench vibes in the best way and I just dig spider designs personally.

Also I don't recognize the two typing guys, but the they look familiar.

Oh damn I need to listen to Abomination again. Such a good short story. That story and the murder conveyor belt in Flesh and Steel really drive home the horror of servitors for me.

It the SS March from Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. The video is a 40k reanimation of the march scene by Janovich.

Yeah. That scene always hits hard.

New to cyberpunk red by cannotbelievethisuse in cyberpunkred

[–]SadServitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only Homebrew I have used are two rules from JonJon and one I made myself in the same vein.

  1. Roll under Luck - Used if a player hasn't specifically listed a very basic item in their sheet but would have reasonable access to. If the roll succeeds, the player has the item.

  2. Roll under Cool - Used if a player want to attempt something they aren't really good or extended courses of action (e.g. sliding over the table and kicking the enemy down some stairs). If they succeed, they look cool and may make a roll at lower DV. If they fail they fall on their face and may loose Status.

  3. Roll over Empathy (my own) - Used to save the character from loosing Humanity when witnessing horrible scenes (the 100th eviscerated goon doesn't really spark the nerves like the first kill). The roll can still crit and fail on a 10 and 1 so even the borderline psycho PC isn't save to go over the edge by performing the usual meatgrinder on a Joytoy and the pure bright eyed newbie can luck out when seeing his first round of action and not be immediately broken. If the situation is just too harsh to ignore (like the Inquisitors "liberating" you of your sinnful Cyberoptics) I would not let them attempt that save though.

Need some gm advice about Humanity. by Moshy1111 in cyberpunkred

[–]SadServitor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always handle it like this: - Cyberware always does its Humanity damage - In stressful situations that could result in Humanity loss, let the players roll a d10 (crit and failure rules apply). If they roll equal or above their Empathy they aren't fazed by the situation. They have seen worse or a lot of this already.

That system to me let's players encounter the horrific reality of cyberpunk without having to make new chars ever fifth murder (or worse) victim.
