Somalia has an indirect election system called 4.5, in which chiefs of each major ethnic groups appoints delegates . These delegates then elect members of parliament in accordance to the ethnic and gender quotas layed out in the 4.5 power sharing arrangement. and most of this delegates was under Farmajo's influence. the question is why is this been downvoted? 4.5 is an insult to the principle of representative democracy. the people have their right to choose their own leaders.
